Most of our users create their maps using either WGS1984 (4326) or NAD83 (2276 or similar). I would like to utilize the basemaps from ESRI, but in order for them to correctly show up, the map has to be displayed in Mercator (3857). Is there any way to project the map package to 3857, or conversely, to project the ESRI basemaps to whatever the customer provided map is?

Nothing specific. There is no inner exception, and the object looks like this: Exception object StackTrace

This is a client of ours that is creating the MMPK, but I am assuming that it includes the data. I can open it in ArcGIS Pro, but can't access the data through the SDK. I am disconnected from their network, so the references wouldn't work for me.

I am attempting to load data from an MMPK file which was created using SDE layers. When using shape files as the layers this code works fine, but the SDE layers always throw an error that says simply says "No data". Does anyone know of a different way to load the content where I can actually read the data in it? I'm using the following code to load the data: this.MapPackage = await MobileMapPackage.OpenAsync(MapPackagePath); and this code to make sure the data for one part of the map package has been loaded: await this._esriMapTools.StreetLayer.LoadAsync(); The LoadAsync is when I receive the "No data" error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I went ahead and submitted a case for this last night. The TextSymbols are more useful for us than the LabelDefinition so we can provide some interactivity, but I'll go ahead and add the JSON for the LabelDefinition as well to the case so that you have both.

I tried that, and it didn't work. Ideally, we would be using TextSymbol anyway since we allow users to interact with the data a bit.

I am trying to label graphics on my map and am having trouble getting exactly the display that I want. Using a LabelDefinition doesn't work because the labels will disappear if they might overlap (yes, I've turned on AllowOverlap and it doesn't seem to work). Using a TextSymbol doesn't work because then they all stack on top of each other making it impossible to see which vehicles are actually at the location. Is there any way to label these vehicles in such a way that it shows the label in whatever the best position is? I loaded the same data into ArcGIS Pro and it labeled them correctly until I realized it was using Maplex to do it. Once I turned it off so I could compare them directly then it went back to the issues I had before. Surely someone else has run across this. The tutorial from four years ago about how to cluster the graphics is OK, but I would rather not cluster them. I would prefer that the labels/text symbols move slightly in order to accommodate the other labels around them.

I'd like to add another request for this. I would really rather use something that is built-in instead of rolling my own, but it's become something of a requirement. Any idea when this will appear?

Does anyone have a fairly straightforward way to implement a day/night mode with a loaded map package without requiring that the customer uses either two different MMPK files or make them include two versions of each shape they would like to display this way? We can change the background of the map, but I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this and how you solved it. Thanks!

I am loading a map package from one of our customers and the labels do not appear at all for a particular street layer. When zoomed in far enough they will appear on other layers, but they don't show when zoomed out. The strange thing is that in ArcGIS Pro, the labels show correctly. There is nothing being done to the map package when loaded, and all labels are enabled. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I was looking through the release notes and the API reference for 100.2 and I don't see anything about the heat map. Did it not make it into the current update? If not, when can we expect it to arrive? Thanks, Clay

Was there any resolution to this? I believe I'm seeing the same thing. I use multiple PictureMarkerSymbols on my map and I have started to notice a similar result. It happens gradually, but runs out of memory over a few hours.

Not the answer I was hoping for, but glad to know that you're able to see the same thing. Please keep us informed when this might be fixed. Thanks, Clay

I'm hoping to bump this up to the top again because nobody answered it the first time. How is this not a huge flaw in the routing system? There is no workaround because it concerns the curves on the streets and not the curves in the barriers. I have five polygon barriers that I have added to the RouteParameters and it can't return a route for anything because it says "operation does not support curves yet." When will it support curves? How about some kind of hotfix that will improve this?

I have a map package which contains a transportation network that has no driving directions parameters set up. The individual features contain shape length and traversal time. When I return a route from the transportation network, the TotalTime property is blank, which I'm assuming happens because of the lack of driving directions parameters. What would be the best way to find the travel time along a route without relying on the TotalTime? I am currently using a RouteTask to accomplish this, but is there another task which would be better suited for it? We do have the requirement that it must work offline, since we aren't always guaranteed a connection to the internet or back to a GIS server.
