Hello again, We're working on a sample application right now to isolate the use of the method. We'll verify that we continue to get access violation before passing it your way. Could take a while since the occurrence of the violation itself is random, and it generally takes several hours of running the application through functional simulation for us to hit it. We are also gathering event viewer logs, and can provide dump files that might help, although they didn't really help us all too much. Thanks! Chad

Hi MBranscomb-esristaff, Is there a timeline for when SetViewpointAsync will be available for the WPF SDK? I see that this issue is listed as addressed in the 100.1 release notes, but specifically for android and I'm still hitting this exception with the WPF SDK. Just curious when this will be rolled out to other languages as well. Thank you.

When using the ArcGIS Runtime with .NET we are noticing that if we resize an application containing a map, items attached to it do not stay anchored properly and move with it. Upon moving the map in any way, however, the items then snap back into place. Further notes can be found in the readme documentation at this github repository. The workaround seems to be working for us as well in the .NET SDK. Did they by chance communicate to you which future release their fix for this would be in? Also then, for Esri staff working on the SDKs, will a fix be delivered for all of the different flavors of SDKs, or are each one on a different release schedule? Thanks!

Hello! We are looking for some assistance at doing a reverse geocode with the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET using a local geocoder from a mobile map package. Currently, when inspecting results coming back through debug, address information is not present. When using the World Geocode service, it appears to be coming back as expected. Our question then is are we missing something in our code, or the locator, that is prohibiting us from retrieving the address? We have a sample application here. GitHub - patdaburu/ArcGISRuntime-DotNet-LocalGeocoder: A sample application to demonstrate some weirdness in the ArcGIS … the read me describes where you can find the code as we have it implemented currently.

That one worked, but the crash dump, zipped even, is still over 100 MB in size. Is there somewhere else I can place this for you?

Yes, this is a physical machine, so here’s the dxdiag taken from the physical machine itself. (My bad on that one. Forgot dxdiag would sub out the display on remote) Yes, it does fail whether we are physically at the machine, or remoted into it. I attached a picture of attempting to grab the dump. The error comes from the application itself, and Visual Studio is never given a chance to save the crash dump from this attempt, or my attempts in the past. Thank you for your quick responses and your time, Morten. Chad

See attached for dxdiag output, but I was unable to find any crash dump files at this time. Also to note, as I forgot in my initial post, the code supplied in the GitHub repo mentioned works fine in Windows 10 with no error.

Hello, We are experiencing an issue in Windows 8.1 with the .NET Quartz release. When we attempt to add a graphic with a polygon geometry to a graphics overlay, we get a windows fatal error message box that terminates the application. We cannot catch it in any way, and logs from Event Viewer don't really give any good description. Source code for this can be found here: GitHub - cleppanen/ArcGISRuntime-DotNet-Maptips-1: A simple demonstration of the use of "maptips" with the ArcGISRuntime… There is a region in the MainWindow.xaml.cs where the errant code is. Also attached is the event viewer log of the application crashing.
