Thanks, Kelly! I found by monitoring the request that attachments larger than 5,188 kB would not load and those less than 3,412 kB would. So I suppose I'll be going through and reducing those file sizes now. I am hosting on a local ArcGIS Server and am able to share the service with no problems other than this.

This is often remedied by compressing the geodatabase which contains the relevant data. Recently it has also had something to do with a raster image. We originally had two in the ArcReader doc. I removed one from the map and moved the other one to the place where I store the mxds used to create the ArcReader docs.

I've got a number of online maps with features that contain attachments to PDF and jpeg files. Some of these links are not loading properly. I either get a warning that "the image ____ cannot be displayed because it contains errors" or a page loads with Wingdings type symbology (picture below). It seems to correspond to the browser being used: iOS Safari seems to load all attachments without problem, Chrome handles most attachments, Firefox handles fewer than Chrome, and nothing loads in IE/Edge. Is there something I can do aside from installing Safari on all my users computers?

Yes I know they will have to be done separately but as long as they are pulling from the sde database that is fine. The problem is having to update 2 data sources all the time to get these reports, when we done us the access database for anything other than the report. Thanks for the advice

Report wizard or Sql forms? We have an old database in access that we transfered into out sde database, but my boss likes the old forms we created in access to create a book for him to have to look at. The data is billboard data. We have about 126 total in the city. I am looking to recreate this form from access into a different workflow. Create report in ArcMap or is it possible to create a form in slq directly from this data-set? It is a pain to go from GIS back to access to have all the data updated, want to reduce the redundancy If this can be done in ArcMap can you point me in the right direction for getting started. Example of what we currently have built from access http://www.cookeville-tn.gov/uploads/planning/MiscFiles/BB067-Revised043013.pdf

I was hoping to fine a more convenient answer to this question. We are always having some department wanting to add a feature class or delete on form here. I was hoping for some other way to do this and not break the replication, but looks as if there is no other way. Thanks for the information posted in this thread.

I am looking for a solution to automate a process for a client, so that all they have to do is type in the report number and it will generate a PDF report for them to print. So far I have the model built so all they have to do is type in the report number and it will select that feature and export it out to a table. My issue is how to get this into a form. I love using access forms to do this on other projects but I am open to any and all solutions. I am trying to get more and more of them to use GIS instead of excel to document and analyse their datasets. If I can cross this hurdle it would help out a ton in winning them over. Work flow steps. - User Clicks tool -Tool promps user to type in the incident number -Tool selects the specific incident and exports it -import this single feature into some program to generate a custom report (That I configure before hand) -Generate a printable single page pdf report. This is the box they get when first clicking on the report This is what I have so far

Below is a graphic of our sever and database structure. All databases are sql and running mostly 1 way replications defined by the arrows. This has been a working progress for about 2 years. The systems has been running for about 2 years in this configuration and it had been nice, but there is one problem. Schema changes are a nightmare to get from point A to point B. If they are made at the top I could possible have to compare schema and import schema changes 7 to 8 times. All the boxes represent off site servers that I replicate to, they are all on the same network but doing these changes over the network takes hours per task. We are in the process of getting fiber connected to all facilities but that is going to be a few years down the road. Other than networking, are there any other options to redesign this structure to improve the system and make it more versatile to schema changes. GRAPH EXPLAINED: The E911, Eagle, and CED are all offsite facilities. Tobler is my server with 6 databases. I pull in data from E911, Eagle, and CED through 1 way replications. Except for a 2 way replication from Tobler - Local Government Model, to E911 - E911 Local Government Model. Once I get all the data into my server "Tobler", producing an off site backup for all facilities. I replicate data out to our publication database and too our replication database. The publication database feeds all map services and viewer programs for all staff. The replication database I push replications back out to the off site facilities so they receive most current data possible for all organization data.

I am planning our migration to 10.3 from 10.2.2. The focus is on the server side. In past time when we upgraded to a new release all replications broke and had to be rebuilt. Is there anyway around this? We have several reps in place to keep multiple organizations up to date with data.

Are you using a SDE user Connection to establish this? It needs to be either the SDE user or possibly the SA user for it to work properly, preferably the SDE user

I have started using Python-AGS-Admin_Master tools, and not problems at all. It utilizes the rest endpoints and not hard code to stop and start services. Works much better with not complications. Very easy to configure.
