It is strange, they gave me rights and when I look, I am wide open on all folders (Admin rights) . I am able to install etc, never had an issue except for this one. This is a weird one,

Thanks Dan. Upgrading Spyder solved it. degugger is cool and no "spinning LSP" Note: I received a permission error mentioning certain folders when I ran pip install. I called my sys admin who logged on as himself but ran it under the account I use and spyder upgraded successfully.

Thanks to BrianWilson DanPatterson and JeffK. They each provided me the info and solved. ANSWER: There is only one conda.exe. It lives here: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\Scripts to use conda in your cloned environment, you fire up conda.exe and type this: activate C:\Users\TheUser\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone Then when you type this: "conda info" you can confirm which environment you are in. (Thank you DanP) If you fire up conda.exe without activating your clone, the "conda info" is pointing to your default environment (C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3) Thanks guys. Would never have figure this out.

Hi Brian, Thanks for replying. When you say PATH do you mean environmental variable? The only way I can fire up conda is to fire up a command prompt then cd to here here: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\Scripts I can now type conda list (for example) and it works. I guess I am just trying to understand if conda.exe is in the clone and how to activate it. I may not fully understand the purpose of it. I thought the whole point of cloning and activating was to have mutually exclustive "silos" of my python stuff including conda. I am trying to lern more about conda so don't let me waste too much of your time. Just trying to make sense of the deluge of material (conda, anaconda, miniconda and how it works w/in Pro.)

I have cloned my python environment using Environment Manager in Pro So I have this: C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local\ESRI\conda\envs\arcgispro-py3-clone\Scripts Question: There is no conda.exe anywhere here. Don't I get a conda.exe when I clone? The only place I found a conda.exe is here (default install): C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\Scripts When you clone, it literally creates a folder called Conda. Why don't I get a conda.exe? Thanks for reading! Have a good weekend everyone.

Thanks for replying. It is the Language Server Protocol (LSP) . Protocols for making stuff like code-complete work. I am assuming it also influences the debugger since I can't get debugging to work. On another mahine LSP is started and debugger is cool. When you fire up Spyder you can see the icon on the status bar at the bottom. (see the attachment I sent).

I can't get my debugger to work in Spyder. I think it is related to the starting of the LSP Python, it just spins and spins. LSP Python is visible at the bottom of the Spyder IDE environment. (See attached image) Running code outside of debug works. I installed Spyder using Esri docs Pro (clone environment, install spyder etc). No issues, install seemed to go successfully. Pro 3.0 Python 3.9.11 Spyder 5.1.5 Windows Server 2012 Thanks for any tips,

Hello All: Hope someone can provide some insight to the below, its got me stumped. Getting Error: "Some data services used by Operation View are slow to respond or may no longer....." I am getting an error when url is accessed in Firefox(56.0) or IE(11.2551.14393.0). Chrome is fine. Error happens regardless if I log into my agol account first or not. Can folks share any "accuracy issues" stories using their R1 units with Survey123 (or Collector)? Users have various versions of Android phones (S5, S6, S7, etc). I set them up with a survey. I set up their R1 units. (Using SBAS and allowed for "mock locations"). They are "paired" and get a solid green light on their R1 units so this tells me they should be getting pretty accurate results. (When testing, I was getting a meter or under accuracy.) GNSS-STATUS tells them they have about 1 meter accuracy. A good portion of their data (10%?) is not accurate (30-40 meters off). This is my concern. They claim they are standing still when they send their survey. They also claim they have a solid green light on the R1. Any comments or suggestions will help me. This may be user error but not sure what to tell them other than make sure you have a solid green light, stand still, and verify the accuracy with GNSS-Status. Any war stories will help me. Bonus Questions Can they have the R1 unit in their pocket? Does having multiple gadgets paired to their phone cause pairing or connection issue?

Is there anyway to link a picture back to its related feature once features and pictures are exported out of Survey123? Details: When the user accesses a survey via a WebMap or uses the Data button in Survey123, the picture is attached/associated with survey record. You can easily see what pic is related to which record. I down load the pic as well as export the the survey (csv, shapefile, etc) but there seems to be no way to associate the picture(s) back to their feature. Please confirm this is possible or is planned in a future release. My Version: v2.3.24 - Many thanks, Shawn

Hey Mike, Editing is Not disabled. (I can add, edit and delete records) " If you simply add the layer to a new map, can you calculate?" Nope. The only way I can CALC is adding FeatLayer to a new WebMap and using Full Editing Control. This is AGOL not Portal does that make a difference? Thanks for the reply.

Kelly, It is weird. I went to a colleagues agol and she had a hosted feature service and couldn't CALC either (until we opened it with full editing capabilities. "Are you able to update, add and delete records or add only?" I can ADD, UPDATE,DELETE with no problem. Thanks again for looking at this.

Good job Kelly. You got it to CALC doing: "Can you open the layer with full editing capabilities in the web map?" I am wondering if that is something I can set in the WebMap being used with Collector so I don't need to add it to a new WebMap every time I need to CALC. (That way users can just open up the WebMap and not have to deal with adding the featurelayer in a new web-map if they want to CALC. I will look at that, you have gone above and beyond. Many thanks.
