Here's the layer in question, the wms service is valid, but after a time, nearly an hour, it stops displaying, so when I go into the localLayer settings, it won't load the sublayers layers, the OK button is greyed out and it says it's undefined. I do not have this problem with all the other Dynamic layers I have loaded, just the WMS. My only solution is to stop and restart WAB with startup.bat. (node.js) And yes, I've tried loading another working WMS, but it also says it's undefined... I've tried http or https it doesn't matter...I've also deleted it and added it back in but it still but it doesn't help. It's like this part of LocalLayer has given up and died?

Hi, I have locallayer widget installed (not sure which version...) and it's working pretty good, but I've found the WMS layer seems to stop working after some time and the layer no longer displays. I have to stop and restart WAB to get it to work again. If I go into the configuration settings, where you add the WMS URL, usually it is populated with all the layers and you can see the circle animation as it loads, but nothing happens...it seems dead. If I copy and paste the WMS URL or any other URL, nothing happens. I'm not having this trouble with Dynamic layers, just WMS...can anyone help? Thanks

Found the issue - using Internet Explorer 11 instead of Firefox. Must be some IE backend security policies in place.

I've installed WAB 2.11 on our ArcGIS server, along with LocalLayer. It's working except that I'm the only person who can see the services published to ArcGIS Server. I've gotten someone else to log into the server and start WAB, they still cannot see the layers. They also can't see the layers that they've published to arcGIS server, and the services are set to public, but I can see the layers they have published. the layers are created by loading them into an mxd from SDE and publisdhing. the SDE service is registered with the server. The WAB is registered with our AGOL account and set to organisational sharing. They can see other layers that I've used LocalLayer, like some public WMS layers It looks like it might be a permissions thing, but I'm not sure where to start looking....my user credentials, server permissions,. wab permissions, etc. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I was going by instructions for installing another custom widget and it said to make an entry in the stemapp>config.json file - but good to know now! I've had issues where other widgets wouldn't work unless an entry was made to it (Or WAB is just acting oddly...I've noticed some strange things with items not being updated after a refresh...but I do several refreshes and it's there) Anyway, success! I stopped and restarted WAB service on the server and now it is suddenly there. I refreshed and reloaded the map earlier several times and it didn't appear.

Hi Robert, Nothing that looks unusual to me. The widget just isn't there in the list. I've amended the json file and made sure the tool is in the widgets folder, just like I did with the other widgets I've been adding (BTW, both the ElevationProfile and eBaseMapGallery widgets work just great with WAB 2.11 - Thank you! ) here's a screenshot:

I haven't been able to get this to work with WAB 2.11. The icon does not appear in the list of widgets. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm trying to get this working at a basic level first so I'm not using a secured print service. I've tried going through the proxy but that doesn't work either. I've left the permissions to public by default, again at a basic level to get this working. If I select the other option, and just tick the check box, I get a permissions error as soon as I press the print button (which is strange because I should definitely be in several of those domains listed). I've also tried publishing another export web map tool from ArcCatalog and that hasn't worked either. It always fails with the same error that it cannot access service at http://.... -and I'm trying this logged into the windows server (I have local admin rights) on which ArcGIS server is installed (And I have admin rights to ArcGIS server as well) If an admin cannot print, then I guess nobody will ever be able to print a webmap!

This is what the print permissions look like. I take this to mean that anyone should be able use the print services?

Hi Katelyn, yes, I got a solution. The problem was the that tool was trying to use a feature class in an instance of sde that wasn't registered with ArcGIS Server. Go to Catalog, as (admin), not (user), right-click > Connect then right-click > 'Server Properties' then click on the 'Data Store' tab and make sure the feature class in the database you're trying to use is registered there. If not, then add it in. For me, I had xxxxTST instead of xxxxDEV registered. When I removed xxxxTST and inserted xxxxDEV, the tool published fine! Hope this helps.

Is there some sort of server checklist I can look at? I mean, things that have to be configured and setup on the windows server (2016) and things that have to be configured and setup on ArcGIS server (10.6). I've been trawling through the documentation but not found anything of use.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by 'arcgis account user'? i'm logged in under my account, and I have admin privileges with it on ArcGIS server.

I've already setup a print service on the server, that was one of the things I've tried. I logged on to the server that's hosting ArcGIS server and webAppBuilder, loaded the map directly from there and tried printing and it still fails. i'm properly stumped here!
