This would be a useful feature. As would any way of seeing what options have been selected in previous repeats. This would mean you know if you have selected that option before. It would also be useful to have an option where previous selections in a repeat are removed as an option.

Camille, Did you ever find an acceptable solution to this? I also have a situation where I am using a repeat with a select one where I want to remove any options when they have been selected in a previous repeat.

I have a federated ArcGIS Enterprise setup, but I want to use a feature service for Survey123 with ArcGIS Online rather than my Portal. This should be the same process as using a non-federated service I would have thought. I have created a secure feature service and registered this with ArcGIS Online and stored my credentials. I have then re-uploaded my survey with this service referenced in my form_id and submission_url. This all goes through fine with no errors raised. I can then download the survey fine to my device. When I submit my completed survey all of the data goes through fine, but the attachment raised a 'Code 400 - User does not have privileges to perform this operation.' error. I also cannot add an attachment from within ArcGIS Online to this feature service when editing in a web map even though I can edit the rest of the data. I can also edit the related table that the repeat uses no problem even though this presumably is the same relationship/related table setup as an attachment uses. Is there any way of resolving this issue?

Hi Daniel, I have had a look and the WMS and WFS URLs appear to be correctly formed now. Thanks for the update. Regards, Craig

I have created a map service which has WFS and WMS enabled on it. The map service has 20 datasets on it and I have then registered each of those individually with ArcGIS Online and shared it with my Open Data group. The datasets are appearing fine in the Open Data portal, but the WFS and WMS links in the APIs dropdown are not correct. Is this a known issue or unique to me? I am having various other problems with WFS in ArcGIS for Server 10.5 and perhaps this is related to that. The WFS for these datasets should be: https://www.maps.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/arcgis/services/Open_Data_Portal/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS But it is appearing as: https://www.maps.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/arcgis/services/AGOL/WFSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WFS The WMS url should be: https://www.maps.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/arcgis/services/Open_Data_Portal/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS But it is appearing as: https://www.maps.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/arcgis/services/AGOL/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS

I am having a problem when I use Workforce to open up Collector on an Ipad. It appears to work fine when I select an assignment and select Collect at Assignment. It opens up Collector on the correct map, zooms to the expected location and adds a dropped pin. It then promptly closes the application before I can do anything. This happens whether I log into Collector in advance or not. Is this a known issue or something unique to me? I am using all the latest versions of the app. I am not having this issue when I test the same apps and web maps etc on my Android phone.

We are having the same problem with ArcGIS for Server 10.5. I have various WFS created from map services on a ArcGIS Server 10.2.1, which work totally fine. When the same services are shared to 10.5 with the exact same settings I am getting a No Geometry error. They cannot be rendered in either QGIS or ArcMap.

John, This is really the scenario that I am looking for as well. Yes we are in the process of upgrading to so called ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5, but I don't really want to move to using Portal for ArcGIS. It is an extra piece of software that needs hosting, updating, maintaining and I am also not really a fan of federating it with Server and how it then takes over. I prefer to manage my users and map services through the ArcGIS Server Manager. Also all of my maps are on AGOL and I don't really want to move the existing ones over to Portal and I don't want a mish mash of some on Portal and some on AGOL. I would much rather continue to use ArcGIS for Server to host ALL of my services and not have to use hosted feature services on either AGOL or Portal. I just want to use AGOL to manage my web maps and applications. I want all of my data that I connect to my map services to be held within our Enterprise Geodatabase where I know it is secure and backed up (I also don't want to store data or services in the ArcGIS Data Store as I already have an Enterprise Geodatabase). I can already host all of my data internally for Collector App for ArcGIS, but I also want to be able to host all layers associated with Workforce and Survey123 locally on my own Enterprise Geodatabase and serve those up with ArcGIS Server to be used by AGOL. Any other solution just add unnecessary complexity. Regards, Craig North Ayrshire Council

Hi, I think it would be useful to be able to pass any field that exists in Workforce through to either Survey123 or Collector App. If the information has been created with an assignment the chances are that information should be recorded as part of the piece of work, be that in Survey123 or Collector App. If you were able to pass through the username of the person logged into Workforce this could be used with a domain to show who is doing an inspection. The Location is very useful to be stored with an inspection record and if the Note or Description fields were passed through it could be used for almost anything. If you were able to go that bit further and allow us to create custom fields in the Assignment and then pass those through to the other Apps it would add an incredible amount of flexibility. When an Assignment is raised in a third party application it would be useful if lots of things could be contained in the Assignment and not just a workOrderId, although the Note and Description fields do already provide a reasonable amount of flexibility. Regards, Craig

Craig, That is good that you plan to allow this to be hosted internally as per most other AGOL related products. It gives the users far more control and interoperability with other systems. In terms of the python scripts they are far too complicated with all those parameters, meaning that they are hard to deploy. For example when adding new assignments from a CSV I have found it easier to just write my own script using ArcGIS Pro arcpy. This is as opposed to currently where all the data is hosted on ArcGIS Online. This makes it far harder to integrate with third party systems such as Lagan, Flare or iWorld in the UK. The hosted approach forces you to try and utilise the python scripts you have provided which are very clunky and hard to use. You would have far more options for data and system linking if you could host the data for Workforce onsite.
