I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.04. I have a bunch of maps in several APRX files which contain query layers, each based on a different SQL database view. Those maps are published to an ArcGIS Portal site. The data behind the database views is changing: the spatial reference is currently a state plane system but is being converted to web mercator. The query used for these layers is just one line, selecting everything that's in the database view. I already have a process to update all the SQL views, but I need to update the query layers to the new spatial reference. In the GUI, I can do this in the layer properties, Source tab: When I re-validate the query (the query doesn't need to change), Pro re-examines the view and selects the correct SRID. Is there any way to automate the process of changing a query layer's SRID? I've done some searching and it doesn't look like it's possible. I know I can change the connection properties using arcpy, but as far as I've seen it's not possible to update the details of a query layer (either changing the query text, or changing the SRID).

Hi Phil: You mention that this isn't possible if the users are on different devices, which makes sense, but is it possible to prevent duplicate entries over a specific time window by *one* user on a single device? We're using Survey123 to record the loading of road salt into salt-spreading trucks. Since it takes the trucks a minimum of about 30 minutes to leave the salt station, spread their salt, and come back, I'd like to prevent the same truck ID from being recorded more than once in 30 minutes. There is only one Survey123 user per salt station, so I only need to check against surveys they've submitted, not the entire dataset.

This would be nice. The frustrating thing is that the field aliases do wrap to the next line when you're viewing a feature, but when you start to edit it, they go back to being cut off at the end.

Make sure to vote for this idea if you haven't already, but from what I've seen and heard so far, esri is not planning on ever adding the ability to publish services to your own ArcGIS Server from ArcGIS Pro. ETA: Actually there is a question about this in the pre-conference Q&A from the UC, and the answer is "No. The introduction of ArcGIS Enterprise, which integrates Portal for ArcGIS, signifies a shift from the client-server pattern to a Web GIS pattern that takes full advantage of the geoinformation model." No mention of the fact that users will now have to cough up for a Named User license to publish services to their own servers.
