Hi Kelly, Glad to hear there are some tools coming soon. Any idea if these coming tools will update item IDs that are wrong? i.e. retrospective fixes? Can you please tell me a little bit more around why you recommend matching item Ids with service URLs. At the moment it is not causing any issues and its going to be a mammoth job to update them all (I have around 60 webmaps with 20 - 30 layers each). What sort of problems could arise by having mismatched IDs? Nonetheless ill keep this in mind and update the IDs properly in future projects. Cheers, Dan

Hi Kelly, thanks for the message. An update to my original post. Turns out it was only three layers within the webmap (of about 30) that were causing an issue. All of these layers were Tile services. I noticed that when using AGOL assistant to update service URLs, the URLs themselves change but the itemID remains the same which results in a mismatch. This doesn't appear to be an issue for hosted feature services, but I could only get the webmap to work if I manually updated the item IDs of tile services to be consistent with the URL. Now my webmap is working as expected, however I am still slightly concerned that I have a mismatch between my item IDs and my URLs for all of the hosted feature services in my WebMap. Is this something that can be rectified? Cheers, Dan

Recently I migrated a lot of webmaps between two organisational accounts using AGOL assistant. Before migration, I spent a lot of time fiddling around with the webmaps adding layers, and removing layers etc etc. This has led to a bloated JSON file associated with each webmap (each layer that was ever added to the web map seems to be stored in the JSON, even after it has been removed from the webmap). Im ready to move in production and have deleted a lot of the intermediary data which I am no longer using. However, because there is still a JSON reference to my deleted data the webmap wont load - at least I think this is whats happening. The web map will load all the layers I expect to see for about a second then give me the error below Has anyone had this issue before, or know of a way to clean up a JSON file to ensure only active layers within the webmap are referenced in the JSON? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks Dan

Hello Whenever I publish a web map from ArcPro to ArcGIS Online my symbol size increases by a third (33.3%). Users will be using both web maps on AGOL and the ArcPro document regularly so I want the symbology to be consistent between the two. I could adjust the symbology size from ArcGIS Online after publishing, however I will be making regular schema changes to the data in ArcPro and do not want to have to adjust the symbology on AGOL each time I make an update (Schema change requires me to re-add the data to the webmap which drops the symbology.) I also want end users to be able to add/remove layers from web maps (so symbology must be defined in the service). Another option would be to maintain two maps within ArcPro, one for editing data and map viewing (Normal sized symbology) and one for publishing to AGOL (symbology reduced by 33%). This is not ideal either as I have around 15 maps to maintain. Has anyone come across this before or have any solutions/work arounds? I do not have ArcMap and am using ArcPro 2.0 I am not using a reference scale Many thanks!

When viewing attachments in the editor window from within a webmap they currently appear as below. One accidental click on the red X and the attachment is gone forever! A solution that warns the user they are about to delete an attachment would be ideal.

I have a collector app set up for where people can edit the attributes of point features and/or add attachments (photos). This is all working correctly. Behind the scenes the "admin" team is tasked with editing and verrifying this data in a webmap. The attachments show up in the editor window with a little red X next to them (See image). One accidental click on the red X and the images disappears forever. Is there a way to add delete protection to attachments or to somehow remove this red X? In some cases, we do want to delete attachments so do not wish to disable delete functionality entirely. Cheers, Dan

Hi Matt thanks for the message. I am running version 10.4.2 build 1026 on android. End users will probably be a combination of both iOS and android users however. We have an iPad in the office for testing purposes but are still having the same problems. Must change base map or exit and re-enter map to refresh changes. Cheers, Dan

HI Oscar, thanks for the quick reply I have tried changing the collector settings but still have the same issues. We are aiming to do something very similar to you by the sounds of it... We want to collect field assessments of assets within a Port. Just to be clear, are you seeing the hydrants that have already been inspected within the Collector Application? The auto refresh works well within the WebMap but we still have to exit the collector app and re-enter (or change the basemap) to refresh the data. It also looks like you are using an apple mobile device where as we have android so maybe this is an issue? Thanks, Dan

Hello, Is there a way to replicate the "set refresh interval" behaviour within web maps to work within a Collector map? I have configured my webmap to refresh every 5mins which works perfectly but this auto-refresh behaviour does not work within the collector application pointing at the same web map. The only way to refresh the map from within the collector application is to exit the map and return to it which is not ideal! Has anyone found a solution or work around to this?? Cheers, Dan
