Hello Daniel, The Site Map report should include the map scale, however, there currently seems to be an issue where the map scale is being mostly cutoff. The map scale should appear in the lower left corner of the map and it is now only partially shown. Thank you for reporting this issue. We will work to resolve the problem as soon as possible. As a temporary work-around, you might try adding the site to the map and creating a PDF. The PDF includes the map scale. We greatly appreciate your feedback and thank you for using Business Analyst! Best regards, Donna

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to explain your use case and why increasing the maximum limit of POI results is important for your analysis research. We truly value and appreciate the information you have provided. The current limits are necessary to align with our data provider requirements. However, we always take user feedback under great consideration and will do our best to work toward meeting your needs as well as our data provider requirements. Our best practices recommendation for the current workflow design is to refine the POI search criteria and search extent. For example, narrow your POI search criteria based on a specific category, NAICS or SIC Code and focus the search extent area so the 5000 limit is not as easily reached. Depending on the area, you may need to perform additional searches and save the results layer to use again in your analysis. In this case, it might be helpful to refine your search extent in Step 1 of the workflow to study areas, such as predefined geography sites or polygons. The upcoming release, coming soon, makes it easier to set your geography areas without having to first create sites in other workflows. We greatly value your feedback and suggestions that will help us improve the application to better serve your use case. Please keep your ideas coming! Thank you for using Business Analyst! Best regards, Donna

Hello, I also responded in the other Esri Community tread but want to ensure you receive the answer. The Australian ABS data is scheduled to be update to the ABS Census in 2020 in the next release of Business Analyst. The release is currently scheduled for October, 2023. Thank you for asking this important question. Best regards, Donna

Hi @ArielLow2146 This is a very good idea! Thank you for the great suggestion! We will certainly take this under consideration for a future enhancement. You can change the comparison geography levels in infographic charts to compare with your site; however, the option to select specific geographies, such as a specific state or county to compare is not currently available. This would be a very nice option. Thanks again for your feedback and enhancement request, it's always appreciated. Best regards, Donna

Hello and thank you for the great question! Infographics can only be created and edited in Business Analyst. Therefore, once you have shared the infographic in a dashboard, if you make edits to that infographic in Business Analyst, you will need to create a new dashboard and add the edited version of the infographic. Best Regards, Donna

Hello Britney, Would you be able to provide additional information regarding the NAICS code you are using and the geography area of interest so we can better answer your question? You might also like to try using a different data source. You can search for business and points of interest locations from different data providers. In the Points of Interest Search workflow, you can select from three data sources, Data Axle, SafeGraph, and Foursquare. Click Show details to view information about each source with links to the data documentation to learn more about the data and the provider. If you are using the Void Analysis workflow, the option to change the data source is found in Step 2 of the workflow where you can select from the three data sources. Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to hearing back from you. Best regards, Donna

Hi Britney, The data represented in Smart Map Search is based on the current map extent geography level. For example, if you are at the Zip Code level, the data will be represented by the Zip Code geography boundary. By default, the data is shown at the smallest level of geography available at the current map extent. For example, if you zoomed into a small area on the map, the data could be shown by census tract or block groups. You can see the geography level being used in the Current map extent drop-down menu. This is also where you can choose another available geography level to map the data. Business Analyst uses a process called GeoEnrichment to provide demographic data about areas on the map. For standard geographies, such as census tracts and block groups, retrieving data is simple because the information is already reported in these units by the agency providing the data (for example, the U.S. Census Bureau). Maximum and minimum range values are determined by the current map extent and the geographies selected. With this in mind, let’s say that you are at the Census Tracts geography level and your selected data in shown on the map by census tract. If you move the Total Population slider to 4,000 the map is updated and highlighted to show only the census tracts with a population of 4,000 or greater, as shown in the image above. Again, the specific range values will change based on the current map view and the geographies you are using for your analysis. If you mouse over one of the census tracts on the map, the information popup shows the Census Tract ID and how each of the selected variables meet your defined criteria. Click the Next button on Step 2 of the workflow to view the data table. Here you can view a table of the geographies included in the map analysis and the associated data. You also have the option to export the analysis to Excel, or view in a chart. You can find more information about Smart Map Search in the Help documentation. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/business-analyst/web/smart-map-search.htm Best regards, Donna

Hello, Thank you for the insightful question. As you are aware there is a maximum of 5000 results that can be returned per POI search. This is per our agreement with the data provider. The current workflow does not identify how many total records are in the query because only the maximum number of 5000 records is returned. The limit works well for focused business searches; however, the limit can be quickly reached when searching for higher level NAICS codes, especially in concentrated business areas. Our best practices recommendation for the current workflow design is to refine the search criteria and search extent. For example, narrow your search criteria based on a specific business category, NAICS or SIC Code and focus your search extent area so the limit is not as easily reached. Depending on the area, you may need to perform additional business searches. In this case, it might be helpful to refine your search extent in Step 1 of the workflow to a study area, such as predefined smaller geography site or polygon. You can learn more about the points of interest search in the Business Analyst Help documentation https://doc.arcgis.com/en/business-analyst/web/points-of-interest-search.htm Thank you for your valuable feedback. We appreciate hearing from you and your comments help us improve Business Analyst. Best regards, Donna
