Customizing visible scales, as well as setting a maximum navigation extent, is something vital for many of our maps. It was available in WAB and is an option in some Instant Apps. I don't see this on the current 2023 roadmap for EB, but I'd heard that it was in the plan. Can anyone confirm?

This particular use case is with Road Centerlines. I am creating a table of FROM and TO segment values for each segment, i.e. each road segment record will have a FROM and TO value, containing the NAME of the cross streets. The catch is that I need the cross streets selected to be the first segment counterclockwise from the subject segment's start/end. In this example, if Green is the subject segment, then Red would be the FROM value and Pink would be the TO value, because Red is the first road counterclockwise from Green at the start, and Pink is the first counterclockwise from Green at the end. Arrow shows direction of line segment Is there a tool or calculation available that can perform this analysis?

Still not working on my primary browser, but when I test on mobile it's all good. I'm going to clear cache again and a few other steps and see if that works, but now it appears to be specific to my end. Thanks!

The data layer in question is the "authoritative" COVID-19 cases service here: https://chamblee.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=bbb2e4f589ba40d692fab712ae37b9ac

Anyone else having this problem? Appears to be specific to Sum function on Deaths field. Other functions still work. Other filters still work. But for Country=US, Field=Deaths, and Statistic Type=Sum, I get this error: There was an error while fetching the summary statistic.

This is something that has frequently come up for me. I primarily use Pro for Desktop and have often deployed ArcGIS pre-configured solutions to AGOL. But frequently I want to take the custom symbologies that come in the deployed solutions and apply them to other AGOL-hosted layers, and usually this is not an option in an AGOL map. The workaround appears to be downloading the AGOL-hosted dataset, resetting the symbols in Pro for the local copy, and then overwriting the AGOL-hosted dataset with the local one, which isn't a very useful workaround. Ideally, any symbol set assigned to an ArcGIS Solution would be available in AGOL.

Andrew - Did you ever figure this out? I have a similar issue trying to automate the update of roads that participate in a network dataset. It seems to be the network itself that locks the feature class.

What are the best options for free historical imagery via services or download? I know NAIP and some other options are available for download, and the latest NAIP is available via service, but is any other nationwide historical imagery freely available for the US?

I'd initially considered this, but this tool requires an input table of events. I'm trying to create events from scratch based upon the routes.

No, with option 1, the measurements are not feet. They are based upon the From and To value fields. 570 is an interpolated measurement along the route, ~50' beyond the measurement of 566.

Chris - That does seem to be a starting point, but there is no assigning of measurement attributes to the output, so I can't tell it to use the measurement value from the routes, or for it to start its points with FromValue and increase from there. It just begins at 0. **edit** I'm thinking that it could work if I create the Station points, and then use the Locate along Route tool, as Gerry advised... Will give it a try next week.

I'm looking into various ways of creating points from a line feature class. My line class contains a FromValue field and ToValue field. At the moment I'm attempting to do this with Linear Referencing, creating a route layer from the line data. If there are better options, then I'd like to hear them. I have created the Routes using the from and to fields instead of length. After testing, it appears to be fairly accurate for my needs. Now, what I want to do is to generate points at regular intervals along those routes. So, for each route I want to create a point every 50', and for that point to contain the measurement value. An alternative would be, rather than to have points at 50' intervals, to show a new point for each integer value. For example: RouteName = Hood Hood.length = 1600 FromValue = 566 ToValue = 680 Option 1: I want to create a new point along Hood every 50', so that the point created at the start of Hood is given the value of 566, and the next point is created 50' farther, with a value of 570 or so. Option 2: Instead of creating the points every 50', a new point would be created along Hood with each integer value increase. So, there would be points for 566, 567, 568... and they would be placed however far apart they should be for the particular route. I've managed to do this on a small scale with the Construct Points tool, except that a) the tool can be used only on one line at a time, and b) the points are not given the measurement value from the route.

Looks like that's the issue! Indeed Exists returned False for everything. I've amended the paths accordingly, but now have run into a new runtime error: workspace already in transaction mode There seem to be a few other threads referencing this error, so I'll have a look at those. Something to do with the fact that I'm editing in a version, perhaps. edit: Solution I found to this error was to remove any feature classes not registered as versioned. This was only one from my list, so it wasn't an issue. Trying edit.startEditing(True, False) as recommended in other threads did not work. Removing edit operation only solved the issue for some feature classes, but when it reached certain others, the process would fail.
