Hi - Would it be possible to have access to the arcgisdatastore.exe process for ArcGIS Monitor 2023 and beyond? It's helpful for TileCache Data Store types. Although there is not a lot to monitor in the tile cache store, I have had the process not re-start after some restarts and/or windows updates. Having access to this process can at least tell us if our 3D scene layers are up and running . . .

Hi all - I can see there are some issues with the the Sidebar Instant app since the February update e.g.: Instant Apps Sidebar template - new vs classic panel setting and ArcGIS Online - Instant App (Sidebar) issue Sorry I'm getting around to reporting my issue so late. I've now noticed that I can no longer collapse the panel(s) down with a double-click as before. Here is my public-facing app: Planning Data Map If you want to try it out. I have gone back into configuration and re-published the app since the Feb update, but the issue still persists . . . Would this also be a bug? Thanks - David @KellyHutchins

It does, thanks for this @DerekLaw . It would also be helpful to have access to the arcgisdatastore.exe process as well, for TileCache Stores. Although there is not alot to monitor in the tile cache store, I have had the process not re-start after some restarts and/or windows updates. Having access to this process can at least tell me if my 3D scene layers are running . . .

Hey thanks @BHK - NOW I'm seeing data: And thanks also @RyanUthoff - yes the host machine process for sure. I mean we all appreciate the advanced metrics this thing can do but we have to be able to make sure the requests are balanced, i.e the same as in Monitor 10.8

Hi @RyanUthoff , @BHK and/or @DanielBrumm1 - I am in the same position as well. I also do not have an Observed At for a Category and do not see a Value for the Statistic field. Does anyone out there have a working example of this? Or point us in to a resource? @DerekLaw ?

Hi - is it in the Monitor road map to include a a process metric for the w3wp.exe instances/counts? I use this in Monitor 10.8 as counter for my web server and it's helpful to know at a glance that my web adaptors are online. Thanks, David

Actually I got this working: For the Host Site, I simply had not ever opened the statistics from Manager>Logs>Statistics. Once I did that, the ArcGIS Server Component for the Hosting Site registered as expected. For the Federated Site, I did have a numeric-names usage report for 'Max Timeouts for the past week'. I think this report was inherited when I migrated our Federated Site to the new Windows Server 2022 VMs by Join Site method. Once I deleted this usage report in ArcGIS Server Admin, the ArcGIS Server Component for the Federated Site registered as expected.

Hi @GeoJosh - I am experiencing the exact same error in trying to register both my host site and my federated ArcGIS Server sites with a new Monitor 2023.3.1 setup on a Windows Server 2022 VM. I am using the host name https://myserver.net:6443/arcgis and the ArcGIS Server primary site account and password, per the Monitor help instructions. As with @Feike , the portal component registered just fine. Everything (Portal, Host, Federated Site) is at 11.1 on Windows Server 2022 VMs. In fact, the 11.1 installs on these servers are new, not upgrades as we migrated servers from Windows 2016 to Windows 2022. The Usage Reports from the ArcGIS Server Admin Directory: Max response times for the last 7 days Timed-out requests for the last 7 days Total requests for the last 7 days As you can see, these are the default usage reports, I do not see any reports with 'number-only names'. Any suggestions and help is appreciated. @DerekLaw

Thanks @TonghuiMing - I certainly appreciate your time on this. Yes, good to know that the ExB is handling the zoom behavior differently, I suspected as much. I will try re-posting the Online Map Viewer zoom issue in the Online space and see if it can gain any traction. Also thanks again on the Arcade API as I clearly need to re-factor some things. Thanks, David

Hi @TonghuiMing - sorry about that, I had un-shared the map over the weekend. You should be able to access it now. You are correct, the popup issue is resolved, this seems to be with the updated map viewer spec. This highly configured map: https://sarco.maps.arcgis.com/apps/mapviewer/index.html?webmap=d7d083a1d1fb4f5686e695581d64d703 is a copy of the sewer map that appears in my experience here: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/b6f8a5bc44e145c48b6d2e06189276cc Today, the map does seem to be drawing better, but when zooming out from a lower zoom level, the redraw of the point, line and poly layers slows to a crawl. I can say the map is drawing better in the experience than in the map viewer itself (I did not yet try and apply the new client-side rendering in the experience). Something else: For the Parcel layer in this map, I have 3 Arcade expressions using the $map profile that return intersecting lines and reads out the line type. However, since there are subtypes in the lines schema, I have to create an array to push the decoded types into it, and then return the decoded type as a list from a second array based on position.... suddenly these are coming back as 'out of bounds', not sure why. Any help or hints is appreciated. Thanks, David

Hi @TonghuiMing - actually yes I am encountering many issues, but with the Map Viewer itself. The maps I am using for my utility locator experience will now barely draw, and my arcade expressions are not behaving properly since the February 2024 update. The experience uses 2 complex maps containing grouped layers that hold hosted feature layers. The hosted feature layers are 'flattened' Utility Network layers published as hosted feature layer collections with complex symbology based on the new UN symbology types from Pro. The maps also contain a hosted parcel feature layer that is returning intersecting line features from the 'flattened' UN hosted feature layers using arcade expression to loop through and return utility line type values by domain name Since the update, theses maps will now barely draw, and my arcade is not behaving. It was fine before the update. Is anyone else experiencing any issues like this? Here is a public version of my map: https://sarco.maps.arcgis.com/apps/mapviewer/index.html?webmap=d7d083a1d1fb4f5686e695581d64d703 Thanks-

Honestly @BrittanyBurson I don't recall. I'm at 11.1 now and whenever I go in to edit an existing list on a hosted feature layer I update both the Description to something and the Field Value to something that describes the type.

You should also maybe check that the install actually created or re-created the windows service ArcGISServer.exe . . . my upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2 attempt did not do so on our Windows Server 2016 platform. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/arcserver-hosting-site-11-2-won-t-create-the/m-p/1361752#M38015 We are using this as an opportunity to move to Windows Server 2022 for our deployment before attempting the upgrade again.

Hi Jamie - yes, I can see that your 1.12 deploy is 'duplicating' the .../cdn/1/.... directory level - My 1.10 deploy just goes one level deep: https://ourdomain.net/gisdataexp/cdn/3/jimu-core/init.js I'm guessing you tried manually removing the extra directory level? @JamesCrandall
