I have the following KML service: https://dev-webapps.usgs.gov/noms/service/cwis/1.2/VCurrentCondition/kml?stateAbbreviation=mn I can get the points to show up in a map online, but when I click on a point, it doesn't give me all the attributes... only the name. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Don

Ooooh, that is good news! Thanks for taking the time to create the geojson service and testing it. My goal is to create a geojson service (and NOT use a static geojson file) anyway, so I'm less concerned now. Anyway. it would be nice if ESRI could fix the static geojson upload issue.

A json file DOES have defined datatypes: Double quotes means text. No quotes means number. Why is AGOL making a guess? Other applications seem to have no problem honoring the defined datatypes in the json file. Also, I'm specifically telling it 'text' in the procedure mentioned above and it's changing it back to number.

Thank you for that information. I tried that and specifically set the 'ParameterCode' field to string. However, after the dataset is added and I look at the table/fields, that field is denoted as a number... not a string. Why is AGOL changing it? I'll upload the geojson file so you can try/see for yourself.

I have a static geojson file that I add to my map in ArcGIS Online. Everything displays fine. The issue is: AGOL is not honoring the type of attributes specified in the geojson file. I'm attaching what the data looks like in the geojson file and what it looks like in the the table or 'identify' in AGOL. Take a look at the 'SiteNumber' or 'ParameterCode' attributes. AGOL is treating them like numbers instead of strings. Cutting off the leading zeros in the 'ParameterCode' is not good :(. The data type in the geojson file are honored when I add the same dataset to a QGIS session or consume it with other apps. Anyone else seen this and have a solution? I eventually want to turn the geojson into a URL service and add it to a map that way. Will the same issue happen if I do this?

ArcGIS Pro version 2.3 Patch 2 (2.3.2) running on Window Server 2008 I configured Pro to work offline, but now I want to check my license back in. When I try to uncheck the "Authorize ArcGIS Pro to work offline" box, I get the error in the attached screenshot. Please advise how to get my user license back online. I have no problem uninstalling Pro from this machine, but I'm not sure that would check the license back in. I'm not sure why the error message is saying: "Portal is no longer accessible". Pro is signed into (see other attached screenshot) the very same Portal it's saying is "no longer accessible". And yes, I am currently signed into Portal as the same user as when I checked the license out. Please help. Thanks!

It wasn't prompting me for credentials because my system admin added our domain as 'http', instead of 'https'. Then it it still wasn't working because of a CORS error that we needed to resolve on our end. What a pain.

I have a secured service set up on my organization's GeoServer. I now want to add it to AGOL. My communitity's administrator has gone through the steps to add my domain to the 'list of trusted servers' in AGOL. However, when I log into my organization's AGOL community and 'Add Item' > 'From the Web' > 'WMS (OGC)' and paste in my WMS endpoint: https://www.sciencebase.gov/geoserver/amscm/wms or: https://www.sciencebase.gov/geoserver/amscm/wms?service=wms&request=getcapabilities ...I get the message: Error Service " does not exist or is inaccessible. From the below-linked article, I understand that I'm supposed to be prompted for credentials at this point? I'm not seeing anything in my GeoServer logs. Can anyone offer any advice or maybe a good tutorial for exactly how to set things up? I've already read: OGC—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS and Configure security settings—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

I think 'Register with the database' means using SDE, which I do not want to do. That context menu is grayed-out for me (probably because it's not SDE-enable). From my research, I was under the impression that the versions of software I'm using would be able to publish Feature Services without SDE. I can do it for spatial PostGIS data, but not for non-spatial Postgres tables. I'm thinking a workaround right now is to create 'dummy' columns in the table with some 'made-up' coordinates and turn them into PostGIS point tables. However, the question remains: Is there a way to publish 'FeatureServers' utilizing non-spatial Postgres tables in the versions of software listed in my OP without SDE-enabling my database?

I'm trying to publish a service with 'Feature Access' (Feature Service) capabilities. I'm using Postgres 9.4, PostGIS 2.2.5. and ArcGIS Server 10.5. I have no problem publishing a PostGIS vector dataset. However, I run into a problem when trying to publish a standalone table (non-spatial). When I run the 'analyzer', I get the error message: "Standalone table's data source is not registered with the database (Feature Service)" status 00061. How come I can't do this? Also, a main goal here is to NOT SDE-enable this database. I can do this with a PostGIS dataset... why can't I do it with a non-spatial table (yes, it is in the same database in Postgres).
