I would like to create routes from an existing polyline dataset, but I would like the tool to use the start vertex as the m = 0 point. The tool only seems to have options for m=0 based on a specified corner of the polyline bounding boxes?

I see that in the Field Maps Web app in the Template section you can choose a default value of "Not selected".

I found you can use the Data Interop extension to read MBTiles and then reformat to a file geodatabase raster. Just open Interop, add a reader and point to your mtbiles file; the software will correctly load the mbtiles raster reader. Then add a Writer and choose the ESRI geodatabase raster writer. Accept default settings, connect the reader and writer and run. Seems to work great!

I have a field which does not Allow Null and which uses a coded domain. When this field appears in my form in Field Maps, the software seems to choose the first entry from the domain as the default value, which is not the desired behavior -- I would rather have the field appear empty before a value is chosen. How can I accomplish this?

Is there any timeline for when streaming might be introduced into Survey123? We currently use Survey123 for field data collection because it is easy to implement and has the capability of anonymous editors. However we now also need to capture lines as well as points. Since this is not possible in Survey123 we are looking at implementing it in Field Notes. Although Field Notes is more powerful, it requires that our volunteer field workers learn another App, and also requires that we get more ArcGIS Online licenses since a login is required for Field Notes.

The "your location" icon in Field Maps is very slow to respond. Also, it only seems to show your direction of travel when you are moving. This makes it awkward to choose a direction of travel. Other Apps (like Avenza Maps) are able to show the direction you are facing even when you are not moving. You can stand still and rotate 360 degrees and the little directional arrow follows you. It must sense your Azimuth cause it does not rely on movement. Please implement this behavior in Field Maps so I know which way I am pointing before I start moving!

When I ran Create Tile Package, my input tiff was in UTM Zone 13, and the output tile package was in Web Mercator (the project Map was in Web Mercator). I think this is where something went wrong. Just now I used the Project Raster tool to project the input tiff from UTM Zone 13 to Web Mercator. Then I used the Create Tile Package tool to create the tile package from the projected tiff, and then published it to AGOL, and now it is visible!

Yes the SCS is Web Mercator, which was produced by the Create Tile Package tool, reading the SCS from the geotiff. Can't figure why things display fine in Pro, but not on AGOL.

I created a tile map package in Pro. It displays correctly on top of the Topographic base map in Pro. However it does not display in Field Maps when sideloaded and it does not display in the AGOL Map Viewer as a hosted tile service. If I zoom to the layer in the Map Viewer it puts me in Algeria instead of Colorado, and it does not display there either. I wonder if it is a bounding box issue--reading coordinates off the screen in Pro puts the bounding box for longitude in the 11 million range, but the Properties dialog puts the bounding box for longitude at negative 11 million.

When using the Table to Domain tool, the tool insists on creating a code field of type Double, even though my code types are integers with values less than 2000. This has been driving me crazy for over two hours....

Thank you for your reply. If I may elaborate on my question, I see that if a feature class is enabled for attachments then you can attach photos in Field Maps without interrupting the collection of the line vertices. However you cannot view the location of the photos or enter notes about each photo. On the other hand, if you relate a point table to a line feature class, and then enable the point table for attachments, you can view the locations of the photos and add add notes for each photo. But in this case you must submit the line data before you can access the related point table and take a photo. Same issue if you have an independent point feature class enabled for attachments. But it is not possible to capture photos as points with attributes at the same time as you are collecting a line?
