I wasn't clear enough, but by "Link" I meant, querying data from a separate SQL Database and the Geo database in one go. Just trying to expand my knowledge on this so I know how to go forward from here in developing my application. Because I wanted to have some metadata database and JOIN results with corresponding spatial data. If this is not possible I guess I will just have to make 2 separate query calls.

i will take a look into this now, it is just kind of strange that a few months ago it was working perfectly and we were ready for full time launch as well as buying credits to use more ESRI services, but this has stalled progress quite a bit.

I get the above error when trying to upload a service from ArcMap and as seen here when trying to enable Feature Access through the server manager, this error occurs. I am not sure what is preventing this from being enabled.

This indeed works, so in order to use coordinates you have to convert the geometry to webmercator geometry first then push that to the routes params. Esri should make a note of this, or amend it in future releases. thanks for pointing out the suggestions I was stumped.

That could be the case, because the routing works when i manually click two points. At the same time though Robert, the symbol for the marker (the black cross) shows up at the right point on the map. This is crazy, can I just add the point to the stops.features?
