This was very helpful, the code allows you to replace 'yyyy' with "dddd" and "MMMM" to return days and months in string formats

Hello all, I am trying to do work a around on the select multiple question. Since selecting multiple answers counts the combination of answers as one string; I wanted to see if I can use the relevant field or the calculate field to default to an answer only if a condition is met. For example, What is you favorite color? 1.blue 2.red 3.green If blue and red were to be selected, then the default answer for the integer field would be "1" in both fields as well as both words "blue" and "green" would be placed in their respective fields. I will send a snapshot of what I am trying to accomplish. Any tips or advice would be great from you all.James Tedrick Thanks, Fernando

Hello ESRI, I would like to see workforce to gain the ability to pre-route your assignments based of a fixed location (home office, an address, or Lat longs). It would be great to step out of my office and pre-route my assignments that are supposed to be due today, this week, or this month (filter by driving distance, date and/or priority). You can manually change the route according to how your day goes such as your pre-routed day all the sudden gets a critical or high priority assignment from the dispatcher. You can acknowledge the assignment but have the ability fit that in your schedule as either the next assignment in your route, middle/end of your day, or edit the due date (if allowed). Also, if you are not able to complete your assignments workforce could prompt you that you did not complete yesterdays assignments and if the user would like to put in their route today and pre route from the missed assignments. I think pre-routing on workforce will be a huge assets to our field staff as that will ensure accountability, save time and save money. The scheduling portion of workforce can be improved by adding in re-occurring assignments. That can save time on dispatcher having to assign work every week, month, or even the year. As a an example, a field worker can have multiple inspections on different assets at different times on the year. The field worker knows that these are routine inspections and must be performed bi-annually or even every other month. Also perhaps having an assignment termination date. An example would be like: I only need to inspect this assets once a month for 6 months or twice a week. You could also adjust this assignment from 2 times a week to 2 times a month to 3 times a year. This may be wild idea but its worth a shot. It would be nice to able to have a calendar tool of your pre-routed assignments. A calendar where could set your work hours for the day, set your days off (e.g. vacation, sick, out for whatever reason). Your route and assignments could potentially be reassigned via the dispatcher, or the assignments can be shifted based on the days your are working again, so your assignments would be pushed back in a chain. Let me know what you think, I know this may be a lot to ask of your team to develop. Also if anyone wants to improve on my idea and make an another suggestion that would be great.

Hello James, 1) There are couple things that I hope the Analysis tab accomplishes. One of them being able to pull additional information per category for example I want to see how many people attended per topic/per organization/per other categories. I think the when all is needed is the summary pages of the Survey123 analysis page, printing can be quite messy. Is there going to be any enhancements to printing of the analysis section? I did find that if you use dashboard view on the web app builder with the infographics widget the printing looks great (have to adjust the scaling a little). 2) Lastly since the analysis tab is capable of counting the individual selections or choices and displaying them without the underscores is it possible to have the same done on the webapp builder infographic widget ( not sure if you can answer this)? I may have to wait and see your enhancements to your analysis section as this may eliminate the use of the Webapp as a workaround. Is there a plan or expected schedule when these new enhancements will be released? Thanks, Fernando

Hello All, I have a couple questions in regards to the multiple choice output. 1. Is there a way to give a count per choice? For example, We have health educators that go out and talk about certain topics. They can either talk about one topic or a series of topics. When they enter in their survey they have the following multiple options: I use the infographic widget on the web app builder and when I try to graph the topics it reads the combination of strings not the individual topics. As shown here: Notice that the inforgraphic reads only the string combination not the individual count. I know Survey123 analysis is able to break it into individual counts, but I ran into the issue of not being to see counts per category. Hence why I had to use the WebApp builder's infographic widget. Would there be a work around within Survey123 Connect where I can do this and work with the widget? 2. Can I remove the underscores on a multiple choice answer? As I mentioned before I noticed that with select one questions I do not have this issue. When a multiple choice answer is given it does not remove the underscores and I have to remove them each time a new entry is submitted. The reason to take out the underscores is that these can be printed nice on paper but it looks "tacky" with the charts showing under scores in the name. I did want to note when I edit on ArcGIS Pro the select one questions seem to be in a domain but not the multiple choice questions. Any workaround or explanations would help. https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123

Hello all, I have created a webapp with the dashboard theme. This is a great way of showing summary information from Survey123. I find that these windows would work great for printing on paper but it would be hard to see the exact count per category in this bar chart I have attached. I think where the scribbled numbers are in the image would be a great place where you place an exact count per category. I think if you do this, it would certainly be not only a great online product but also a great printable product as well.

Thank you both for replying to my questions. I instead used a Web App to help me supplement my obstacle with the Analysis tab for Survey123. I do however would like to be able to count category. For example, In my data I have a organization type, a target audience, topic, and number attended. I would like to see how many folks attended my event by topic, by target audience, and by organization type. Is this feedback helpful? If you need more clarification please do let me know. I look foward to your future updates as Survery123 evolves and progresses.

Hello all, I am working on a survey that needed previous entries from an excel spreadsheet to be appended to a new survey I have created. All the data shows up just fine in the "Analyze" section of Survery123 but, when I want to filter data for a quick analysis based off the event date not the date the survey was submitted. Is there a way to get the filter button to do this? Also, I have a text field that is list of cities where these events occurred. When I analyzed this summary it seemed that the words were being split up. As an example, we had an event occur in San Bernardino. The way it is being counted is: one count for "San" and one count for "Bernardino". I would like it to read as one count for "San Bernardino". Lastly, is there a report function where I can get a break down of how many per topic? I have attached some screenshots that may help.
