We moving our Open Data site to the new hub, and we see that each dataset can have related and connected content. What is the process that relates a datasets, also, how do we set up the open data to show related content to show that a certain dataset is used in a certain application. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been trying to configure the statistics within our Open Data site, to display the count of total records. When ever I select a field, and select the count option, the Open Data site displays NaN. Any ideas on how to fix this? The data set is our Building Permits, and I want to show all of the permits currently issued. Thanks Frank

Hi, We are looking to create an interactive application which will allow users to create a custom route accross multiple trails. Essentially, I am located at this community center, which trails near me can take me on a 1/2 hr walk. Has anyone created anything like this? Thanks Frank

Scott, I've been using Power BI, and i see a lot of power with it. Do you know if we can use custom geometry in the arcgis add on. What I want to do is bring in data from our AMANDA (CSDC) system, which keeps track of planning applications, and show them spatially by the parcel. The reaso why we can't use the address, is because some of the planning applications won't have an address yet, but we would have a parcel ID that we can associate them to. Do you know if we can use custom geometry. Thanks Frank

We are currently in the process of upgrading some external sites, and does anyone know if its possible have the user click on a feature and automatically redirect to a URL. I know that this can be done by using a popup, but I want to bypass the popup and go directly to a site. Any ideas

Hi, one of my team members has been tasked to create 3D buildings with roof lines. She is well versed in Sketchup, and we have a license of CityEngine which she has had training on. Does anyone have a process or steps that you use to create building from foot prints, and at the same time create rooflines. We currently have an Esri ELA, and we are open to use any software. Thanks Frank

Thanks for all of the feedback. If we use it for anything, it will be just as an archive for mxds, but anything in production, we will keep out of sharepoint.

Hi, Our IT department is in the process of migrating our network shared drives into Sharepoint 2013. Currently my group creates a lot of maps for various departments, and we store in our network drives the mxd's, and associated files such as file geodatabases, excel tables, shapefiles and other items. Does anyone currently use SharePoint 2013 as a respository for this type of information? If you do, are there any best practices that you can share. Thanks Frank Goehner Town of Oakville

We are trying to figure out how to keep track of Unique IDs on multiple featureclasses in a versioned environment with an Oracle database. We have looked at using the Attribute Assistant, which would work, but we also have users who edit in the field using Collector and Geocortex applications, and the attribute assistant only works on desktop. I'm sure we aren't the only people with this issue. Does anyone have ideas on how to solve this. Frank Goehner Town of Oakville

Thanks Adam, I have tried that as well, but for some reason the scene package doesn't open up in ArcGIS Pro. Would you be able to open the scene package in your ArcGIS Pro? http://exploreoakville.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=aec1379bbe5448beacda75554f3afae8 Frank G

Hi Adam, thanks for the response. How would I create a tile package from the scene package or scene service that was generated from Drone2Map. I have tried to bring both into ArcGIS Pro, and neither seem to work. Here is the URL for the scene layer that drone2Map created http://exploreoakville.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=476acc903202476a88cc780763c7bef4 , and here is the scene package that was created as well. http://exploreoakville.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=aec1379bbe5448beacda75554f3afae8 Frank

We have been using Drone2Map, but we are having issues on exporting the data to ArcGIS Pro. What is the best way to take the 3D outputs and open them up in ArcGIS Pro, ArcScene or ArcGIS Desktop. Our goal is to combine the 3D Mesh that was created with our current 3D work. Frank
