Another way to do the work is to use JSONConverterGeometry: IJSONConverterGeometry JSONConverterGeometry = new JSONConverterGeometryClass();
IJSONObject JSONGeometry = new JSONObjectClass();
JSONConverterGeometry.QueryJSONGeometry(geometry, true, JSONGeometry);
string strGeometry = JSONGeometry.ToJSONString(null); Maybe a litlle bit simplier ...

Hi, We 've got exactly the same issue trying to connect to Portal for ArcGIS 10.5.1 through a web adaptor with IWA using Python 3.6.4 and ArcGIS API for Python 1.3. Finally, we solved it by installing the winkerberos python package. Hope it works for you too.

Hi, We use the CreateReplica tool from the distributed geodatabase toolbox to create the fgdb from the postgresql db. With a fgdb, we have to create a check_out replica. To import the fgdb to the postgresql db, we use the synchronize changes tool. With those tools, the global is are not changed.

Hi Ahmad, Actually, it works like a charm. We choose to base our relationship over globalid / guid, because we work with distributed geodatabase and it was the best (only ?) way to avoid conflict between multiple replicas when they were imported into the master geodatabase. Performance stay good, but we don't have any large tables / feature classes (thousands of record). I think, it will depends on the underlying RDBMS. We use PostgreSQL. We planed to upgrade to ArcGIS 10.5.1 this year.

I think i finally found a workaround for ArcGIS 10.2.2 1. Create the origin table / featureclass with the globalid 2. Create the destination table / featureclass with GUID field as a foreign key without the globalid 3. Create the relationship class 4. Add the globalid to the destination table / featureclass

Hi, I've got exactly the same issue. Thanks to this post, i found a workaround. To create my geocode service, i used this kind of service description JSON String: { "serviceName": "yourservicename", "type": "GeocodeServer", "description": "", "capabilities": "Geocode,ReverseGeocode", "clusterName": "default", "minInstancesPerNode": 1, "maxInstancesPerNode": 1, "instancesPerContainer": 1, "maxWaitTime": 60, "maxStartupTime": 300, "maxIdleTime": 1800, "maxUsageTime": 600, "loadBalancing": "ROUND_ROBIN", "isolationLevel": "HIGH", "configuredState": "STARTED", "recycleInterval": 24, "recycleStartTime": "00:00", "keepAliveInterval": 1800, "private": false, "isDefault": false, "maxUploadFileSize": 0, "allowedUploadFileTypes": "", "properties": { "outputDir": "youroutputdir", "virtualOutputDir": "/rest/directories/arcgisoutput", "locator": "yourlocatorname", "suggestedBatchSize": "1000", "minScale": "-1", "textAntialiasingMode": "Force", "antialiasingMode": "None", "maxScale": "-1", "maxResultSize": "500", "LocatorWorkspaceConnectionString": "yourconnectionstring", "maxBatchSize": "1000" }, "extensions": [], "datasets": [] } For the "locatorworkspaceconnectionstring", i used the one i created in "Data Storage" in ArcGIS Servre Manager Hope it helps

Finally, the only workaround i found is to write a geoprocessing tool using C# and call it from python. If someone is interested, i can post the Visual Studio project.

Maybe, you can find a workaround to your Visual Studio crash by consulting the following thread: http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/30189-ArcGIS-10-SDK-.NET-error-when-choosing-toolbar-in-Add-Ins-menu?p=104723&posted=1#post104723

I've got exactly the same issue. It could come from the decimal separator in the regional settings. For me, the decimal separator was originally a ",". When i replaced it by a ".", everything work well. There's a NIM about this issue: NIM066373. I hope it's help !
