Hi, my company is looking at data governance tools, such as Collibra, to understand data schema and relationships, etc. This tool is for many different types of data sources, including GIS. So I was wondering if there is a thrid party enterprise data governance solution that has a hook/plug-in for Esri geodatabases.

Hi, did you ever get a good response to this? Below doesnt seem to satisfy the data governance question. We are looking at Collibra but I do not know their ability to interpret an Esri geodatabase.

I have a customer request to modify the panning mouse click functionality in a web app to mimic another application they use. They want to make it so that clicking down on the center scroll wheel of the mouse and holding down allows for the panning in the map. Any distant chance anyone as done this or knows what to modify in the application code to do this?

One question about this....I can get this code to work where I can have the selection color and line thickness that I want. But is there a way to disable the pop up all together here so that when the you enter criteria into the search widget, the results are shown with the code above but no pop up at all is present?

Thanks Scott. I did see that but was hesitant in installing as I thought that there had to be some formula that Excel could execute to do the conversion. I may end up trying this extension if all else fails. Thanks again.

Does anyone know where I can find the equation to put into Excel that will convert CT State Plane coordinates to Lat/Lon? I know ways to programmatically do this using ArcGIS but have a scenario/workflow where we may need to do this from within Excel. Thanks!

I want to know how to preserve OID's in a spatial join. I have done a spatial join between a point and a polygon feature class. The output is a new point feature class with the fields of both point and polygon features (each point was given the attributes of the polygon that it is located in). I have created a Model Builder Python script to run this join and overwrite the newly creat point feature. The only problem is I need to OID's of my original point feature to persist in the output feature class. I am doing this in an SDE database. I have attached the Python script (.py) as well as the same script in .txt form. Thank You!
