Hi Allison, I did put a ticket in with ESRI Support and the resolution to the problem is to export the data to a file geodatabase. Once the data is exported to a file geodatabase the relationship is maintained in the export (I had exported to shapefile or table and the relationship was not being maintained). When the layer file and the table are brought in to ArcMap a join was created from the table to the line layer. Then I was able to export the table to a spreadsheet with the correct comments associated to the correct location attribute which was in the line layer. Thanks for your comments. Gail

Hi Allison, I appreciate your comments. I double checked with the manager that was reviewing the comments to confirm that the comments were consistent with the project selected in the online app, and he said that was how he will able to go back and reference a project number to a comment, so that indeed worked. The next step is where things fall apart. I am able to export the feature class to a shapefile and download to my desktop. When I open the feature class I see 302 records which is exactly the number of records when I published. I am also able to download the table using the same process. When I open the related table that I downloaded from AGOL, there are 302 records that same number of records that are in the feature layer. I was able to get the comment records from the related table by doing some analysis and then exporting. If you are interested in seeing that I can post the instructions, but it was not a straight download from the table in the map. I have also tried opening the maps that is published to AGOL in the desktop ArcMap, and this error message occurs: Here is a screen shot of the AGOL web map: Any ideas that you may have about how to get the comments into a spreadsheet format with some identifier would be greatly appreciated!! Regards, Gail

Hello, I created a crowd sourcing app using the Crowd Sourcing App from ESRI in ArcGIS Online. The public comment phase is over, and now our organization is reviewing the results of the application and how we would like to improve for next years public comments. Here is the link to the instructions for the app that I used: http://solutions.arcgis.com/local-government/help/crowdsource-polling/get-started/automated-moderation/ One of the issues that I found was that the comments were very difficult to get from online to a local environment so that the organizations groups that needed to review the comments could have them in a spreadsheet format. Although I was able to make this work, there were no instructions on how to make that happen as part of the app instructions. What was more problematic was that there was no identifier in the downloaded comments to link back to the projects. This had to be completed manually (by a stake holder that really wanted the feedback). In other words; The public comments were for road projects that were in a line feature Public users clicked on a project and were able to leave comments about that project To review the comments in the app a user just clicked on the project and was able to see all the comments associated with the project selected However, when the data from the table was downloaded there was no way to link the comments back with a project. There was a related table associated with the line feature. What I am wondering is if I made an error in creating the app (in the online version the comments were linked to the location and it was not a problem) and I just needed to configure the app differently? Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide, Gail

I am interested in the same information. I work for a county highway district and we have both Laserfiche and ESRI technology which we deploy to end users via Geocortex and ArcGIS Online. I have found DocuNav's GeoDoc product and City Digital also provides some sort of Laserfiche/ESRI integration, but I don't think their product is branded. I also found via the Laserfiche Empower conference in Long Beach (February 7-10, 2017 Long Beach) that there is a way to complete the integration without a third party vendor using the SDK tools provided via Laserfiche. Documentation is sketchy so far and if you have any additional information I would be happy to hear. Thank you, Gail

I will review the document you provided and confirm I followed all of the steps correctly and also review the Permissions between the two browsers. I was at a loss of where to go so I appreciate your comments! Gail

Hello, I did a search before asking this question and found that none of the other people that asked this question got an answer and the questions were posed almost two years ago, soooo... I have a map in AGOL that has popups associated with jpeg images from street cameras (URL in attribute table). I need the popup to display a jpeg image that is updated to a server every three minutes and it needs to be available on the internet and not just our organizations intranet. The configuration for the popups went very smoothly, however, the popups work great in Chrome but not at all in IE. Technology wise here is where we are: ArcGIS 10.3.1 Internet Explorer 11 Thanks in advance for any suggestions, help or advice. Gail

Hi Cole, I am in the process now of updating our Geocortex for our organization from 3.15 to 4.3.1 using ArcGIS Server 10.3.1. We installed Geocortex 3.15 a year ago April (Using AGS 10.2) and it is extremely out of date (you are 3.9?). Latitude refers to it as "legacy". There is a huge push at Latitude to develop for the HTML5 viewer. Not sure what you are using Geocortex for but we waited for the HTML5 viewer to have parity with the Silverlight viewer, but they are not quite there yet. Hence I am developing the GSV (Geocortex for Silverlight Viewer) and am finding that even with the knowledge that Silverlight has been deprecated in Chrome it is still stable in Explorer and the upgrade is totally worth it. The other issue you may run in to if you do not update Geocortex is that as browsers are updated there is less support provided. Also, with regard to your server...if you have the option and the time I wouldn't bother getting 10.0 back up and running. When our organization upgraded we had the huge advantage of getting a new server, so everything was installed new (with no overwrites or uninstalling) and built new maps, etc. All the development was completed before launch. When we launched it was a huge success and we just shut down the old server. Good luck, Gail

Our organization is currently using ArcGIS Server 10.3 and we serve up maps within our organizations intranet using Geocortex. Currently I am configuring the newest version of Geocortex and wanting to be able to add map layers so our users can have additional content. To do this our server needs to be registered with ArcGIS Online. Can someone direct me on how to register our server with ArcGIS online? We have an ArcGIS Online account. Also, can someone tell me, is there a charge for this?? I am baffled! Thank you in advance for any direction you can provide, Gail

Hello, Our organization uses ArcGIS Server (recently updated to 10.3.1) to serve up maps on our intranet. Sporadically we have had trouble with the measuring tool throwing errors (even in other versions). The last two weeks the tool has been working half the time and then stopped working at all. We have isolated the issue to the Geometry Service on our ArcGIS Server and it was recommended that I remove the service and re-add it. I have looked for a white paper on how to do this, but am having a hard time locating anything. Any thoughts on how to go about this...pros-cons? Thanks in advance for the help! Gail

Resolved this issue by creating a worskspace folder to save our connection files in and recreating our database connections using the Arc Catalog tool found in Data Management->Workspace->Create Database Connection. We think that there were two connections files and one was inadvertently set to the wrong version and the incorrect connection was added to our script which was changing the transactional version.

Thanks, Dana. I am wondering when you are analyzing the new table & creating the versioned view...are you using a tool for this? And, is the table in your gdb when you are using the tool or is it just a file outside the gdb? Gail

Hi Blake, We have set up the scripts to use different connections, one as a connection to our “Enterprise” version and the other is a connection logging in as the SDE administrator. We run the script for the reconcile post as SDE. Then the analyze on the “Enterprise” connection. But, it changes the transaction version to Default. I was told by the GIS Helpdesk that we could use different connections, but it is still changing. Gail
