It would be helpful if we could control the color of the overflow arrow in the menu apart from adjusting the Primary and Dark theme colors. I'd like to be able to adjust the regular and primary colors within the widget settings. This would give me more options for creating the branding we want. What I want to adjust in the menu widget options: What I want it to look like, but you the arrow is black and invisible: I can adjust the color in the theme, but I'm using the theme colors elsewhere. It'd be nice to be able to adjust the color of the menu overflow arrow in the widget itself. Thanks.

I'm trying to use the chart widget in Experience Builder with an ArcGIS Web Service and it doesn't seem to be functioning properly. I'm trying to create simple column chart that displays acres of national forest land in each region of the Forest Service. For category type, I'm using 'By group' with the field REGION, and I'm using SUM as the statistic with the field GIS_ACRES. This is what displays with those options: It properly displays the Regions (01-10 [without 07]), but does not sum the acres. The service works fine in other widgets in Experience Builder and works fine in a Dashboard. But not with the chart widget. Any idea why? Is the chart widget compatible with ArcGIS Server Web Services? I couldn't find anything about it in the chart widget documentation. Is there a certain service configuration that needs to be changed in order for it to work with the chart widget? Any help would be greatly appreciated. *Note the service url is linked in the first sentence. Thanks!

I created an Experience Builder app that contains several embedded dashboards (beta version). It works great in Edge & FireFox, but the dashboards do not display in Chrome if the user is not logged into AGOL in another tab. The dashboards, maps, HFLs and Experience Builder app are not public and shared with a single group. In FireFox & Edge, users are prompted to log in. In Chrome, the Experience Builder header displays and the dashboards do not: It's throwing an X-Frame-Options/ same origin error. I saw this post which seems similar, but has no resolution. So I made my own post. Clearing the browser cache solves the issue in some versions of Chrome, but that's not a solution I want to pass onto users. Anybody have any idea who to fix? Thanks.

I'm creating templates for our org in Experience Builder. The ability to create and share templates is great, but it would be really helpful to be able to transfer individual elements from experience to experience. I want users to be able to mix and match individual elements from the templates I've created. It would be useful for me when creating the templates to not have to recreate element that already exist in one experience. And it would be helpful for my users to be able to pull out individual elements to add to their own experiences or different experience templates. Here's an example of the type of elements I'm referring to: I've created a dropdown legend using fixed panel and Sidebar. It looks like this: You expand it to view the legend. It be nice to be able to group that content and copy it over to a new experience. As it now, I have to recreate it when I want to use it, or start with a template that contains it. I'd like to be able to move it between experiences more easily.

I assume the reason Esri switched to the new home page editor was to make it easy to create a home page and to ensure that all home pages are responsive. Which makes some sense. However, the existing editor is so limiting, it's difficult to create something that's really functional for our users or helpful to the public. Why do we have to use a gallery as a workaround to add buttons? It's difficult to create anything close to what we were able to create when we could adjust the HTML & CSS. I'm not suggesting Esri goes back to that. That seems problematic as well. My suggestion is to add more widgets to the editor: a button widget, a column & row widgets, a photo widget, a card widget, a carousel widget, a more customizable header widget, etc. And let us add links in the existing text block widget and choose our own colors. It doesn't have to be as robust as the Experience Builder. Create something like a pared-down Hub site builder, or the new Story Maps builder, but tailored it for a home page. Limit the widgets and customizability to allow for responsive design. That's what most of the new app builders do. But give us more flexibility to meet agency branding standards and the needs of our users.

Agreed. It kind of blows my mind that you can't add a link to the text.

Is there no way to create GIS object connecting to an ArcGIS Online org, using the credentials of a user that has multi-factor authentication enabled? Our org requires administrators to use multi-factor authentication, but I can't find a way to log in to the org via the Python API. I keep getting this error: If there's not a way to do it, is there a plan to add a mechanism to do so?

Yeah I thought about this. So query features based on the mapPoint returned by the hittest and then build some mechanism for users to toggle between the returned query values? That makes sense - I was hoping there was an easier way.

I've created an app that uses a featureForm to edit data using the JavaScript API (4.11). The data represents project areas for the next 5 years, and there are cases where the polygons don't change from year to year. My question is how do I deal with identical polygons? The script uses a hitTest to query features and populate the featureForm. But this only selects the topmost polygon. How do I give the user the option to toggle between polygons. My initial thought was to use the popup and a popup action. I successfully created a popup action which allows the user to choose which polygon they want, but there some issues when the featureForm populates. Sometimes the data in the form is incorrect. Is using a popup action the best way to go about this? Or is there a better option?

A useful enhancement would be to allow a user to reassign their own content without requiring the permission to see the content of other users. If the "View all" content administrative privilege is not enabled in a custom publisher role, the user will not be able to reassign the ownership of their content to another folder. In our organization, there is private and confidential data that should not be visible to the entire organization. Users sometimes need to transfer ownership of their items to another folder without viewing the content of the entire organization. Currently, the "View all" parameter under the Content portion of the Administrative Privilege section, must be enabled to reassign ownership of an item.
