ESRI really needs to develop some included tool for converting MDB Access files into something legible by ArcGIS PRO. They have just dropped support for a very popular format. If ESRI wants PRO to be the desktop then at least make a GP tool for importing MDBs.

Additionally it would be good to right-click a folder in the Add Data dialog to refresh a folder instead of closing dialog, then going to catalog to refresh. Does enabling the indexing help with the data refresh issue? I turn off index to avoid lockups.

When selecting points you must be exactly on top of feature to identify. The point tolerance is not adjustable for identify. The snapping tolerances are adjustable but not the identify feature from the Explore tool. Please make the Explore tool tolerance adjustable. This is reported at version 2.3.2

Kory, I do have ArcMap and ArcCatalog and could do the conversion. But many of us are interested in testing for full parity so we can transition to a PRO primarily production environment. This is one of those critical functionality missing from PRO that will have an impact on GIS users that ESRI may not recognize. The personal GDB is a good storage medium with access by other non-GIS applications that make it very useful without the need for synchronization of files to switch formats between applications.

Since ArcGIS PRO currently does not have a native method for reading data from Microsoft access databases(.mdb) we need a tool at least to import the data into a file geodatabase. It would be best to natively read the personal geodatabases instead of importing. Many companies still use the personal geodatabase because of the ease of development in MS access for forms and reports. Please vote up this idea.Microsoft Access (.accdb) Support in ArcGIS Propug list #pug puc

The margins in the Legend inserted by default with ArcGIS PRO are too tight to the text for layer and group names. How can the margin be adjusted? The Legend Properties -> background pane presented on the right hand side of application window does not adjust the margins. After multiple chat sessions with ESRI we found the answer. Select the legend in the layout, and select the Format menu at the top ribbon. Adjust the Gap X and Gap Y values to suit your needs. Being an old ArcGIS desktop user I was looking in the pane on the right because that is where everything else is. The legend in old desktop had good default margins anyway that I never adjusted. Adage: when you can't find it... look up

Excel to Table does not convert the minus symbol or dash to an underscore like other special characters. This took much sleuthing on mine and esri support chat desk. Please make sure that all the special characters are included in the conversion tool.
