Hello everyone, We are working in field maps with our water pumpstations with external tables related back to the feature class (pumpstation) Is there a way to prepopulate certain fields in the external tables from fields in the feature class every time a new inspection is done? We are trying to eliminate repetitive work and save time with the inspection. I've looked over any information I could find on this answer but I'm not able to come up with the solution I need. Hello everyone, We are running 10.6.1 on everything and we did install Field maps application into our portal for access to it. We have all our data with GUID, and the sync boxed checked on feature services. However when any edits are made in the field and they try to sync back on wifi there is nothing synced back to the versions in the database (SDE). Hello, We are running into a problem with our fields guys and submitting data in the field (online maps) and being signed out during the edit process and they will be signed periodically during the day for no reason.  As far as I know they are in cell coverage area.  The problem of auto signing out has gone on quite a while now and I've had several ESRI cases opened on the matter with no results of improvement. Hello my fellow ESRI users, I'm trying to find the best way to solve a redundant problem with using collector and external tables. Our wastewater dept. has manholes (feature class) it inspects everyday and updates data in an external table attached (Manhole Inspection forms) to the feature class. They also update a couple of fields in the feature class as well (inspector and inspection date). I'm trying to find the best way to copy over some of the information from the external table (Manhole Inspections forms), such as inspector and inspection date, to the feature class so they don't have to enter data in twice and save them some time and effort. What is the best way you would recommend that be carry out? (Script, sql, etc..) As always Thank you for your help! ... View more

Hello fellow GIS members, I'm trying to get editor tracking in collector for ArcGIS to record the users name rather than ESRI_Anonymous. Is there a specific way to set this up to record a specific user. Hey ESRI people, I'm trying to develop a workflow for our electric dept. for our padmounts and inspections. I've already created a relationship table and class for the padmounts. They are mostly yes or no type questions. My question for this is for a dashboard set up after the data had been collected. Is there a way to show the relationship table data in a operations dashboard, that alerts the viewer to a no answer. Or is there a way to make the feature class change a different color based on a yes or no question from a related table. Please let me know if you have any more questions about this Thank you ... Hey GIS people, I'm trying to solve a problem we are having with Collector for ArcGIS on iPad. When my crews create a new feature any dates in the feature class autopopulate with 12/30/1998 @ 12:00 a.m. I've tried looking into the problem on our portal and manager, but i can't find out how to correct this problem. Hey ESRI people, I'm trying to develop a better collector workflow for my sewer dept field guys. The have manhole inspections they do everyday in the collector app. The way we currently have it set up is we have a feature class of the manhole that has all the data and time and date it was last inspected. We also have a relationship class with a relationship table called manhole inspection form that they use for historical records for that manhole. They currently have to repeat a data in the feature class as well as in the relationship table. What i'm asking is there a way to populate the manhole inspection form with the data from the feature class when they create a new relationship table from the feature class in the collector app? Hello guys, I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to use Collector or any ESRI product for multiple entries on a single feature point out in the field. For example, we do manhole inspections and lets say we do a manhole inspection and fill out all the fields for this single feature point. We visit the manhole next year and need to fill out an inspection again on that same feature point. Is there a way to store the record for that feature point from last year before we over wright the data? IS there a way to set up multiple records an attach it to one single feature point? Hello GIS ppl's I've been creating symbology for our eletric dept. with multiple lines using the hash line symbology, but when I publish it to our server then create a map from the layers in Portal, the lines don't hold there same symbology.  Does Portal for Arcgis not support Hash line symbology and is there a way to fix it? Hello GIS Ppl, I have a quick question,  So I'm creating a map on Portal for arcgis to be used with the explorer app and I've notice that unless i make the feature service available when publishing it to my server i can't identify features on my maps i make for the explorer app.  This would be ok, except i have features that won't let me use the feature service option when publishing it to my server.  So.. my question is I need to be able to click on objects in the explorer app, but can i do that without publishing the feature service part?
