I meant Pro 1.4 yes, you're right ! We may need to update our ArcGIS License Manager at least, to 10.4 if nothing else ...and by doing that still everything should be backwards compatible and work just fine ....correct? Thank you

That will be fine - it won't be the first time to try a workflow that is not officially supported ... I'm sure we have all done it ... Thank you again

Excellent - thank you so very much! I didn't even know that we could do that - leave all our ESRI software at version 10.3 and only use the USAaddress.lot file from 10.4. - is that correct ?.....omg brilliant idea (if that works!) Thank you, Thank you

Thank you very, very much Bruce for explaining all that to me - that really helps! Why do you say 10.5 supports now subaddressing like apartments - isn't that already being supported at version 10.3 level ? That is what we're using and it does work with apartments as well..... Your answer is being greatly appreciated Thank you

Thank you so very much for your answer Bruce! Please help me understand better I'm a little confused. What do you mean by "using the StreetMap Premium 2016 R3 USA locator"? Yes, my reference data has StName as "Avenue S" but I'm not geocoding my addresses. I'm trying to build a custom locator for our data to be used online on our city interactive maps. When you talk about the Standardize Address Tool versus the Geocode Address Tool - what's the difference ? I really thought the Standardize Address Tool was the section called standardization under the USAddress.lot xml file that we can edit. We did change a few things in this USAddress.lot file to match our data and we were hoping to learn how to add an exception rule or something to accommodate this scenario as well.... Thank you again Best Regards Gabi

Hi Bruce How exactly should we add the exception in the Standardize Address Tool for street names like "Trail West" to avoid returning West as a suffix but rather as a street name..... We have a similar scenario on "Avenue S" for example and I'm sure there are many more like that and it seems to be common practice to be able to add an exception rule....but HOW? Thank you Gabi

Based on technical support from ESRI in order to make our 10.3 geocoding service work on any sub address with unit number (apartment) we had to delete some lines of code in the widget.js file within the search (widget) folder inside the widgets folder of the Web AppBuider application: Server->apps->appID->widgets->Search->Widget.js Line number 252: delete the localSearchOptions and the comma after the ….searchInCurrentMapExtent

I know Robert - I wish the geocoding service was externally accessible. I really appreciate your time .... I just opened a case with ESRI and they are trying right now to reproduce the issue - will let you know of our findings on this. We love your widgets - great work ! Thank you

Is there a place with known bugs or limitations for the current version of the Web App Builder 2.0? What I'm experiencing is a difference between a geocoding service (single house with sub-addresses) behaving as expected when the online version of the WAB is used but not quite working with the developer edition - trying to check if anyone else has seen similar behavior or see if the problem can be reproduced, etc.... Thank you

The same exact geocoding service is working just fine when using the WAB online but it does not seem to work the same when the developer edition is used - sub-addresses don't seem to work ... I would appreciate any insight on this topic Thank you

Not sure if this helps, but we did try to change the weight of unit type (apt) to zero when scoring and that seems to allow 100 matching rate with apt included in the address… (but exclude unit type from your locator when you build it) We changed this part in the original USAddressLocator …………………………….. ……………………………………………… Gabi
