Just like the Export table to CSV option, this is next most important tool that must be a part of ArcGIS Dashboard. Without these tools, the meaning of "map-based" "dashboard" is incomplete. We are unable to convince our users for the lackness of these functionalities and many time users becomes dis-satisfied from the GIS products. Please add Export to CSV and Measure tools in ArcGIS Dashboard. Grateful!

This is a very legit requirement that specially in utilities it is required to match the symbology of line and point layers to be colored same to have a better analysis. It is very difficult to give a color to a unique ID if range is in thousands and doing the same activity for other layer with different geometry type is quite a challenge. ESRI must work on this to provide any tool with which any one can symbolize line, polygon and point layers with a same color generated based on a unique ID.

Hi everyone, I have created a python script for the scheduled maintenance of ArcSDE geodatabase with Oracle RDBMS. We have ArcFM electric solution implemented in our ecosystem. My script is working fine with the non-ArcFM ArcSDE but not working with the ArcFM geodatabase from windows scheduler and Python IDLE or outside the ArcGIS environment. it is showing me "Could not open sde workspace" which I believe would be due to com objects. I wonder if there is anything available in the python through which we can open the ArcFM geodatabase outside the ArcGIS via scripting. Is there any lead? Grateful

This issue is resolved by changing the Oracle user password. The password was containing special characters which ArcGIS client applications was not accepting while login.

Hi everyone, I recently encountered an issue while creating an ArcSDE on a new server, it was throwing me bad login error while executing Create Enterprise Geodatabase tool. The issue was very confusing that I could not connect to the oracle from both arcmap or arcgis pro however I was able to connect to the database from sql developer. The oracle client was properly configured since I was able to make connection to the other database from both arcmap and arcgispro. This issue took a while to get resolved since there was no support on the ESRI blog exactly to the my case(or may be I was unable to search that) and arcgis was not showing a details with error code. Putting it here so that it may help if someone encounters the same. Solution: The issue was in the database user password, it was carrying an special character '@' which I request the database admin to change, doing so I was able to connect to the oracle from arcmap and eventually created the ArcSDE. Hope this helpful.

Hi @ChrisUnderwood , Thanks for the help and the issue is resolved. Let me tell you what I did for the resolution based on your idea: I copied the instant client inside the ArcGIS server users directory so that it may have full access to the client folder. Then I set up the Path variable accordingly and restarted the ArcGIS server service which resolved the issue. Really grateful for your valuable insight. (y)

Hello, I have recently installed Oracle 19c database on a windows server. I am able to make connection to the database from Sql developer as well as from Net Configuration manager in oracle client software from client machine. However, when I am attempting to connect to the database from Arcmap or ArcGIS pro, it shows bad login user despite that I am using same credentials from sql developer and it works fine. I was first trying to create enterprise geodatabase using geoprocessing tool. Same error "Bad login" was shown while executing the tool. Then I realized that I am not even able to connect to that database from ArcMap/ArcGIS pro. Any one have idea what is the issue here? thanks in advance.

Hi, I have created Featureset based on the attributes joined from two layers. Now, my intent is to configure popup based on the fields from the featureset/dictionary created in the arcade. I am not sure how to return the fields for the popup window? my code so far is as here: var portal = Portal("portallink") var Grid = FeatureSetByPortalItem( portal, "itemid", 1, ["*"], false ); var Loading = FeatureSetByPortalItem( portal, "itemid", 3, ["*"], false ); // Create empty features array and feat object var features = []; var feat; for (var t in Loading) { var tableID = t["GRID_ID"] for (var p in Filter(Grid, "stationid= '"+tableID+"'")){ feat = { attributes: { Name: t["GRID_STATION"], Grid_ID:tableID, Grid_Amp:t["GRID_LOADINGS_AMP"], Grid_Per:t["GRID_PER"] } } Push(features, feat) } } var joinedDict = { fields: [ { name: "Name", type: "esriFieldTypeString" }, { name: "Grid_ID", type: "esriFieldTypeString" }, { name: "Grid_Amp", type: "esriFieldTypeString" }, { name: "Grid_Per", type: "esriFieldTypeString" }, ], 'geometryType': '', 'features':features }; // Return dictionary cast as a feature set return FeatureSet(Text(joinedDict));

Hi @DerekLaw , Thanks for the update. Could you please further suggest that which version prior to the ArcGIS 11 had this functionality to export to the csv? so that we downgrade to that version to incorporate this important feature in our dashboards till the time of new release. Looking forward for your help. Regards Junaid

Yes, I am trying to show the actual count of object IDs in the middle text. Additionally, I want count of specific subtype in the bottom text based on the subtype field.
