i'm trying to export a raster with its stretched values (0-255) and i can't figure out how to do it via the model builder. normally this can be achieved by right clicking the raster in the Table Of Contents Data > Export Data... Tick the "Use Renderer" box how would i achieve this using the model builder?

is there anyway to get ArcGIS Pro 1.1 to work on windows 10? Tried installing on a surface pro and when i run the application nothing happens. The first time i ran it and a splash screen came up then prompted for my username / password. i didn't realize you had to activate online first so i got an error saying i wasn't authorized to use it. when online and activated my account tried to run it again. no splash screen or password prompt, no indication of it running on the screen. it does show that its running in the task manager though with a tiny footprint

is there a way to export a feature class selection, skipping the export if nothing is selected. at the moment if the selection is empty then the model builder crashes.

Curtis Price Good suggestion Curtis unfortunately it didn't work. The files still didn't open in picture viewer and the image was left mostly blank.

Jayanta Poddar Thanks for the suggestion i think this might be in a newer version of arcmap than i'm using i can only see the following options. (ArcView v10 SP5) I also tried adding an additional tool on the end of my model (Copy Raster) with it set to 8 bit unsigned but these files just exported as tiny corrupt files.

The output clipped images are only 8.5mb (the input files are 1.5mb) so i can't imagine size is an issue. if opened with; Windows picture viewer - ...Damaged, corrupted or too large error Picasa Picture Viewer - Invalid Image GIMP - Comes up with an error saying it can only handle an 8 bit image. so this seems to be the problem. how can i make the model export an 8 bit image? (the same as the input)

Strange one i have a model which should; - Take an input tif image - Clip it using a shp file as a new tif - Uses an iterator to batch a folder of tif images The input files open fine in other programs (ie. windows picture viewer / paint) however the output files come up with the error shown in "Tif_Error" attachment if opened using windows picture viewer The images open fine if opened with ArcMap or Global Mapper Looking at the image properties for input / output the only real differences are; Input Output Pixel Depth: 8 Bit Pixel Depth: 16 Bit No Data Value: 256 No Data Value: 65535 I've attached an image of the model also ArcView 10 (SP5) + Spatial Analysis

Thank you both for your answers. Gabriel Upchurch i've attached a screenshot of the error. The problem seems to be that the rotate tool doesn't seem to want to accept an in-line variable as its input to the rotate tool. The file ie. G:\Hotlinking_Images\P1010471.JPG already exists so its not an error because the file doesn't exist / hasn't been created yet. For the Get Field Value for the "Img_Path" i have tried setting the Data Type to string and raster dataset and it doesn't seem to make any difference. I've also attached a screenshot of the data type for the FPath column (this is the value collected for the input .jpg) Chris Donohue I've changed it to "G:\Hotlinking_Images" and it doesn't make any difference.

I'm having some problems with a model i'm attempting to make. I have a folder of jpgs that i need to rotate. I have also created a shp file that contains the jpg name / path and the angle to rotate by. I'm hoping to use an iterator to select each row of the table, extract the file path / name and rotate the appropriate raster. The tool i'm attempting to use is the rotate raster tool Toolbox > Data Management Tools > Projections and transformations > raster > rotate however i can't seem to get the rotate tool to accept the input raster (using get field value tool) Is there any way i can make this work? Using ArcView 10 sp5

Thats worked at last. i had no idea this query would work in a personal geodatabase rather than a file one. just curious is there a reason for this or a method that would work for a file geodatabase?
