Hi @Ulises . My organisation has grappled with the same issue over the years. I gather from your post that you are using the older/classic versions of Workflow Manager and Job Tracking? If you were to migrate to Branch Versioning, you could make use of constraint attribute rules to prevent users for editing the DEFAULT version directly. Constraint attribute rules—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation The Arcade for the constraint rule would look something like this: var VersionName = GdbVersion($feature); var index = Find('DEFAULT',VersionName); if(index == -1) return true else return false By implementing this constraint rule, users can be given privileges to Post to the DEFAULT version but they will be prevented from editing the DEFAULT version.

I'll answer my own question 🙂 The bug I described above appears to have been fixed in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/deleting-a-feature-from-a-web-feature-layer-in-arcgis-p-bug-000157282

I would like to export a Workflow Item from ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server for backup and restore purposes. Will the following REST API calls achieve this? https://developers.arcgis.com/workflow-manager/api-reference/rest/export-workflow-configuration/ https://developers.arcgis.com/workflow-manager/api-reference/rest/import-workflow-configuration/ Would these API calls also provide a solution to the original question by @AlistairMcDougall1 ? Is there any other way to export/import and backup/restore Workflow Items?

Using ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.1, it is possible to create Extended Properties and define their default values. These same Extended Properties can be used by other templates in the Workflow Item. This is great, however the Extended Property default values are the same regardless of which template is used to create a job. It would be very useful if the default values could be set to something different on a per-template basis. So when a job is created, the default values can be defined depending on which template was used. Currently, as a work-around, I need to add an Update Properties Step at the beginning of the workflow diagram so that I can set the required default values. It would be much easier if it was possible to do this in the template.

My organisation needs this functionality as well. It would be even better if it was possible to set ALL the parameters for the Open Map step using an Arcade Expression. Arcade Expressions can be used for most of the settings in other Workflow Manager Steps, so it would make sense to enable that same functionality here. At the moment we need to create ten separate Open Map steps in our workflow to work-around this issue and it is difficult to maintain.

My organisation is experiencing an Error Inspector workflow problem, which appears to be a bug. I figure it makes sense to post it here. When editing a Branch Versioned feature class and validating an Arcade Attribute validation rule in ArcGIS Pro, if the validation returns an error, and that error is then flagged as an exception, and then the associated feature is deleted... the exception remains in the Error Inspector (and presumably, the validation error tables). This is very problematic for our editing workflows. We are using ArcGIS Pro 3.1.2, and ArcGIS Enterprise has been upgraded to 11.1 with all the associated patches as per the date attached to this post. Our Enterprise Geodatabase is also at version 3.1.2 / 11.1.0.41833. Just dropping this in here to see if anyone else has experienced this bug, and whether anyone has any work-arounds. A bug has been submitted to Esri Support, and escalated (but, only recently).

Hi @JayCary the Roadmap above shows that Semiautomated Review will be available in ArcGIS Data Reviewer in the near-term. Just to clarify: does this mean that new functionality will soon be available that will supersede the existing "Flag Missing Features" and "Browse Features" functionality under the "Manage Data Quality" tab in ArcGIS Pro? It is my understanding that the existing "Flag Missing Features" and "Browse Features" are ArcGIS Pro buttons that provide legacy ArcMap-based functionality. Are the existing "Flag Missing Features" and "Browse Features" buttons in ArcGIS Pro 3.1 the same as the "visual review tools" you have described in the following Esri Community post?: Re: What is the relationship between the Error Ins... - Esri Community

Yes, +1 for this enhancement please. Same issue as @RobertSistersonYCC above. Australia are adopting an new national datum - GDA2020. Currently ArcGIS Pro's default transformation between Web Mercator and GDA2020 is set to: https://epsg.io/9688 ...which assumes a null transformation between Web Mercator Basemaps and data being displayed in GDA2020. But instead, our Web Mercator basemaps for the state I work in currently require a null transformation between Web Mercator and GDA94 to properly align. We need to use a different default transformation. Manually changing the transformation method for every ArcGIS Pro project is very time consuming and not a practical solution.

Hi, As an administrator of ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.0, I would like to know where the web application and services store all of their information. For example, from a server architectural perspective: Where on the host are Workflow Diagrams stored? Where on the host are jobs stored? Where on the host are Locations of Interest stored? Given that ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server is an ArcGIS Server site which includes a Workflow Manager server role, is all this information stored in the ArcGIS Server directories on the host (eg \arcgis\arcgisserver\directories\arcgissystem)? Or in the config store? Or is all this information stored in the ArcGIS-managed Data Store that is part of the ArcGIS Enterprise installation? Cheers.

My organisation has identified a number of bugs related to ready to use validation rules. We have experienced similar issues to what has been described above. There is a (vaguely described) bug here: https://support.esri.com/en/bugs/nimbus/QlVHLTAwMDE0Mzc5Mw== Esri Support's advice has been to not use ready to use rules, but create a standard validation rule and use Arcade to define the expression. 😞
