@AmberConverse you should try disabling the local indexing to see if that makes a difference for you. It was immediately faster to rename after doing so.

I found this thread and disabled indexing. This worked for me.

Is this not what you are after? I could be reading into this wrong. I followed the comment above and it did work for me. You share the map, make it copied to server instead of referenced, and split each layer from your TOC into it's own web feature layer. I end up with individual rest endpoints for each layer, with exactly one layer in each one.

I'm always amazed when I find good, reasonable ideas that have been here for years. Take this for example, it's got a good use case, it's been suggested as an idea, a few people have liked it, but here it sits 7 years later! Suppressing messages needs to be implemented in model building.

First run the Split Line At Vertices. Then add a field to the result called curveCount. Then Calculate Geometry to it using the Number of Curves option. The result will be 1 for curve or 0 for not curve.

I am using the getWebLayerSharingDraft --> exportToSDDraft --> StageService_server --> content.add --> item.publish method of updating a hosted feature layer with new data. This has been working perfectly. Now, for no reason so far as I can tell, my SD file will upload to AGOL but the next publishing step fails with "Job Failed". One note - after a successful publish, the code goes on to delete the Service Definition item. The service definition file appears to be delete protected now. I see both the hosted feature layer and the service definition file in my AGOL content. In ArcGIS Online, the Feature Layer (hosted) item says it was updated Feb 7, yet in the Details section on the right panel, it says "Data updated: Jan 28. Log result for below: Creating SD file exportToSDDraft Connecting to https://arcgis.com/ GIS @ https://pottcounty.maps.arcgis.com version:10.3 added Job failed. sharing_draft = mp.getWebLayerSharingDraft("HOSTING_SERVER", "FEATURE", sd_fs_name)

@Sarah_of_Lubbock I have found a work around that does the job. In ArcGIS Online, go to Organization -> Settings -> Security -> Information Banner. You can style something here to make it obvious!

*Edited for correctness: That's true. Python 2.7 did eventually work, but only after repairing the paths.

@ChestonDobbins the issue is about paths. Declared variables, field maps for appends, etc are all broken by this change. Parcels = "\\\\files\\GIS\\Scripts\\Database Connections\\ParcelFabric.sde\\ParcelFabric.DBO.ParcelEditing\\ParcelFabric.DBO.ParcelFabric_Parcels"
arcpy.Append_management("Subdivisions", "Sub_FabricExport", "NO_TEST", "Sub_Name \"Sub_Name\" true true false 255 Text 0 0 ,First,#,\\\\files\\GIS\\Scripts\\Database Connections\\ParcelFabric.sde\\ParcelFabric.DBO.ParcelEditing\\ParcelFabric.DBO.ParcelFabric_Parcels"

Thank you for the reply. I am aware that this is new, expected functionality. However, it furthers my suggested idea. The GP tool that performs this upgrade, in my opinion, should warn SQL Server users of this change in the documentation, as it affects every single enterprise SQL database prior to v11. I do not think the release notes are in peoples minds as they are referencing this tool's help; they weren't in mind. It is a major change, one worthy of a note in the documentation. I think it will save other customers from facing major problems like I had.

I recently upgraded a version 10.8.1 enterprise SQL Server geodatabase to version 11 using ArcGIS Pro 3.0 Upgrade Geodatabase GP tool. Doing so, come to find out by design, altered the way the geodatabase items are named. In v11 it no longer uses the [databasename].[schema].[tablename] format and is now only [schema].[tablename]. This change broke all of my enterprise paths in models and python scripts for things like feature class paths, field mapping paths, etc. I wasn't expecting that, and it was a big chore to repair. Please update the documentation to warn of that change when upgrading between geodatabase versions prior to v11. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/manage-sql-server/upgrade-geodatabase-sqlserver.htm

Interesting @jcarlson! So I have to ask, if @anna_garrett is using the enterprise variety of the Fabric, would WAB Parcel Drafter allow her to configure the Future_parcel type polys and lines that she's created as inputs? Do the base fabric feature classes that are published contain all the required fields/types needed for Parcel Drafter? Or does it require specific hosted feature layers to be configured?

Thank you for the long answer. Using a different parcel type like you will work very good for me. I hear what you are saying for the construction process. I will try your steps! I am going to leave this without accepting your answer as the solution for now to see if any additional good ideas come in. That said, your answer was great, and I will mark it.

I need some advice in re-creating a desktop fabric workflow into a pro fabric workflow. The old way- At the time of plat of survey review, I would create a plan, create a construction, construct 1-3 parcels (maybe a road row parcel and two tax parcels) from the survey, keep but not join, save, and build and join at a later time when deeds are recorded. Two things I am struggling with: What is the best way to pre-draw features like I do now and come back to them? This seems pretty straightforward, but here goes: I think the way to do this would be to create the tax parcel lines, but not create the seed and not build. Come back to those lines later when needed and seed and build. Any problems doing it that way? I imagine I can hide those lines not used. How do I use Traverse to create more than one parcel at a time? See attachment. I would have done this drawing as a construction in the old fabric, creating the entire outer boundary and then using breakpoints, planarize lines, and connecting the dots. From what I am experiencing now with Traverse is that I can use it to create one parcel, and then another parcel, and then another parcel, even chained together, but I am not seeing a way to create multiple parcels at one time as I could in the old "new construction".

I got you, RoeeBaeloha. This can be achieved. See my first screenshot. Make sure you set it to System (Enhanced). This honors the Windows "Scale and layout settings" see my second screenshot. I think you'll find that looks much better than your screenshot. You can turn off "Large Icons" after you change this setting, I see you found that option in customize mode. Tell me you don't have 4k without telling me you don't have 4k: "I would get rid of the 4k. No significant benefit unless your using your computer to play games." Not a single person that has 4k would make that claim. A 32" 4k monitor is phenomenal, dare I say ideal, for GIS, Desktop or Pro.
