Yeah we have our eletric un set up with z values on the vertices, So for example our Overhead primary is set at 36 (of 36ft) our Secondaries are set at 30 (30ft). And our Underground primary is set at -4 and our secondaries set at -3. That way the Topology see,s them as not being able to intersect. Hope that makes sense.

I have a question is the build lookup meant specifically for a filegeodb that has the utility network in it? Or can it be used to a enterprise utility network in sql? Thanks John.

I run mine periodically from time to time. Sometimes it helps just to push stuff out clean things up.

Do you have a field in an existing database with the spatial attribute you want by each feature.? Also yes your right even if you change the default field to what you want unless you update your Feature Template it will still default to your default value. Have you tried to create a new feature template and update the default values in the template properties? John.

I don't know exactly what you mean by switch center? But if your talking about a pad mounted switch we have various assemblies built for our Electric Distribution most of them contain 3 lines that make up the buss. Then depending on the switch configuration we typically have 4 switches connected to the bus then a set of elbows for each switch that are connected to there switch. If that makes sense. I attached a sample assembly for you to look at. John.

Hi Chris, Yes there is a solution for both Utilities. That being said even with you migrating to the UN you could do what your talking about even at the filegeodb level. You would just have to use feature datasets for each utility. Kind of how the geometric network is configure for Water, Sanitary and Storm. But you will need to be careful about making sure when you create you utility network that your naming convention is unique to each utility. One cavate with all your data being in one database also is if anything happens to your database all of utilities are effected..food for thought. Good Luck.

Alright... So got it figured out nothing wrong with the subnetwork setup. One found out at my reg stations that the inlet line and outlet lines to my elbows were not drawn all the way to my to the elbow..DAH. And also the vendor that helped with our migration left all the elbows as "Not in Service"..Proposed ?? Why would you do that?? Anyways thanks for your help. John.

Morning So I looked at the sample data to me it looks like we have our Reg Assemblies setup the same way all the way around. So I don't know what the issue is? I'm sure its something simple I'm missing..lol Thanks John.

Yup I did modify the Subnetwork definition for a few things but didn,t check that but I see that Station Pipe is not listed as a Aggregated Line in the definition? That May be the issue? My reg assembly has the pipes part of that assembly as station pipes. Thanks John.

Hello, We are in the process of trying to get our System Subnetwork to propagate through our Regulator Assemblies. For some reason the system subnetwork gets to the first on and doesn't go any further . If I bypass the Reg Assembly it goes to the next one and stop also. The Assembly validates and has no issues there? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks John.

Yeah Beer...it does help. I spent months trying to figure out why with collector you could not publish anything with a version or use a version mobily. It is very frustrating cause the UN stuff lets you actually edit via a web rest service. You just have to count on no mistakes..lol
