I too am having a similar issue with the Group Filter widget. I'm using Portal 10.6 and the Reset button doesn't reset and un-apply the filter. I don't have the 'Persist after widget is closed' setting checked. It doesn't reset when I close the widget either as the documentation suggests that it should. These are the results of an applied group filter displaying a number of records returned for the selected filter value And here is the same attribute table after the widget has been both 'Reset' and Closed which should have reset the filter completely. BTW, there are 996 total rows in this layer when it's unfiltered. Is there a bug with the 'reset' when the application is closed?

We have a similar architecture at my utility. Once you've done the initial export, you will need to set up a routine (via model builder or python, etc.) that runs nightly to update the data in your export. We currently have Milsoft's data exported to an Esri file geodatabase nightly. Once this process ends, we have an extension GeoEXT Import that runs on our ArcServer machine to import the delta changes made within the last 24 hours. Our end result is a copy of our Milsoft data that then resides within an enterprise geodatabase (SQL 2012). All services are published using this data and any data that must be maintained outside the Milsoft environment is also edited within the enterprise geodatabase. With respect to symbology, dependent upon the type of symbology you are using, you should be able to create layer files and/or styles that match whatever you are using with your current .mxd. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding our current workflow processes for getting our data out of Milsoft and into an Esri geodatabase that we can use for publishing web services.

I have ran across this myself on more than one occasion. Unfortunately I have yet to figure out a way around this problem. What makes it even more frustrating is that these Coded Domain values will appear one time but the next time the service is updated you may get the descriptions. The only fool proof way around this that I've found up to date is to created additional fields in the schema to store the descriptions and config popups and tables on AGOL accordingly once your web services have been created.

I just had a similar experience and when I checked in ArcGIS Administrator sure enough, I don't have SP1 loaded on the machine. I guessing that in order for this to work one must first install the SP1 then install the patch. Just a thought - I will test and report back. Jessica VA
