Wow. I guess that makes some sense to hide in the 'About' widget. But I would never have figured that out without your help. Many thanks.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep checking for the updated release. How do you determine the current version for an application in AGOL WAB?

I downloaded WAB SDK 2.1 yesterday to test capabilities. Every application I try to import from ArcGIS Online reports fails reporting that the Theme is newer. Is there any way around this? Or is the SDK only useful for new construction?

We have a related table with a range domain and a field that allows null values. When a user tries to edit the field, a default value is already there that is not specified in either the field or the domain. When you try to remove the value to replace it with null, it replaces the value with a zero.

I use Aptana Studio 2 (http://www.aptana.com/products/studio2). There are intellisense plugs-in available from the ArcGIS Resource Center. Query code assist plugin in the resource center or try this link.

Sara, I think I had the same problem with that sample and getting it to work with points rather than polygons. I think the trick was that it is easier to successfully query a feature polygon with a screen point rather a feature point with a screen point. I recall I solved this by creating an extent around my screen point and then using that as the query geometry in the hope that a 'box' would intersect my feature point better than just a screen coordinate and it worked. Rather than doing this in your code: //set query geometry = to evt.mapPoint Geometry
query.geometry = evt.mapPoint; Try this: var ext = new esri.geometry.Extent(evt.mapPoint.x - 100, evt.mapPoint.y - 100, evt.mapPoint.x + 100, evt.mapPoint.y + 100, globals.spatialRef);
query.geometry = ext; Bear in mind that I'm adding map units (which in my case were METERS) to create a 100 sq meter box around the screen point and using that to intersect.

I'm using esri.dijit.AttributeInspector to display an infoWindow of attributes for a feature. One of the attribute field's is defined as DOUBLE and gets the default number treatment when displayed using the AttributeInspector. The attribute field has values that are big integers (Example: 4957683920) and the formatting displays them with commas (4,957,683,920). Since this is an ID number, I'd rather the numbers display with no formatting at all. Anyone discover a way to override the default formatting of number fields in the AttributeInspector dijit?

I was wondering if anyone new if it was possible to zoom to a location within a certain distance. For example, I zoom to an address but want to zoom in a mile around the address and not to the point. Thanks Jaclyn A simple way to handle this is the map.centerAndZoom method. It requires a point on the map and depending on the type of service you specify either a fixed map scale or zoom factor for the extent. You can also set the extent of the map yourself using map.setExtent method. Here, you are in control of the extent you are sending; defined as XMin, XMax, YMin, YMax in map units. If you have a point XY coordinate, your XMin = XMax and YMin = YMax. Adding/Subtracting map units to the Min and Max values of the X and Y coordinates, gets you a zoomed extent. See Setting and Using Extents in a Map for more details.

For some examples, check out the user submissions in the ArcGIS API for Javascript Code Gallery. Type 'zoom' in the search box. To redraw the map zoomed to a feature, you can set the map extent (map.setExtent) to the appropriate geometry. Two examples in the code gallery offer different ways to accomplish this, along with some other nice stuff: Zoom to DataGrid example An easier way to zoom with a Dojo digit

Well, for one thing, I think you should change the expression value from: tempLayer = "pointsLayer" expression = arcpy.AddFieldDelimiters(pointsLayer, "Point_ID") + " = 'busstop'" + " = 'bridges'" to read: tempLayer = "pointsLayer" expression = arcpy.AddFieldDelimiters(tempLayer, "Point_ID") + " = 'busstop'" + " = 'bridges'" Either that, or just put quotes around the pointsLayer rather than use the tempLayer variable, as in: expression = arcpy.AddFieldDelimiters("pointsLayer", "Point_ID") + " = 'busstop'" + " = 'bridges'"

Someone who knows more about programming than I told me that the case statement should have a "case else" statement instead of just "else". I then got it to work in both table view and Model Builder. My bad. You are absolutely right. That example of mine should look like this: Example 5: An alternative form is the SELECT CASE ? CASE ? ELSE ... END SELECT format, which seems to be a tad more consistent: dim output as double select case [LOCATIONID] case 100 output = 101 case 101 output = 100 case 102 output = 104 case else output = 0 end select Jim
