Hi @AnonymousUser23, unfortunately I haven't found a way to exclude the extra language information.

Is there a way to limit geocode suggestions for an intersection to only show a candidate for the city in which the intersection is actually geographically located? Our 911 Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system leverages Esri Address Point and Street Address locators for providing call location addresses through a customized interface, not via ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro. When a 911 call taker enters a street intersection that is near a city border they are provided with two address candidates. We want to only show the candidate for the city that the intersection is actually located within. We don't want the adjacent city candidate to be presented as an option. It is a waste of precious time if the user unknowingly selects the adjacent city candidate, then zooms to the map to see the geocoded result is not at the physical intersection (Think motor vehicle accident). Depending upon the location of an incident different agencies will respond to a call, so it is important that we pick the correct city. "Washington" is the "correct" city in the example shown below. Millbrook Village is the adjacent city candidate, which we don't want to be presented as an option. (This example is illustrated using ArcGIS Pro, but the CAD system uses a customized interface.) Purple is the city boundary. I tried various Match Options combinations of "Match with no Zones" and "Comprehensive Zone Matching" settings and rebuilt the locator, but they don't seem to have any affect on the results. I still get two candidates for the intersection. Anyone been able to solve this issue? I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.2, but this issue has been happening since the ArcMap 10.X days as well. The reference dataset is a road centerline file with address ranges and left/right city attributes as well as the other road name information, of course. (Note: I am not able to create an "intersections" dataset that has all the "valid" intersections by municipality. We don't have control over the underlying programming framework or implementation in the proprietary CAD software.) Thanks in advance.

I've created an address locator using ArcGIS Pro 3.1.0 and then published it as an AGS service on Enterprise version 11. When I look at the REST endpoint every language variation is displayed for the Address Fields (ArcPro3-1-0-Locator.png) even though I specified English as the Language Code (ArcPro3-1-0-Language.png) when creating the locator. An ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.1 locator service only has the English fields displayed as output (ArcMap10-8-1-Locator.png). Can an option be added to exclude languages that are not of interest for your project during locator creation?

@ShanaBritt thank you for the info. I guess I'll have to transition this question to an idea on the ArcGIS Pro Ideas forum.

While I appreciate the interoperability it makes sifting through the fields a much more difficult task.

Please add an option to the ArcGIS Enterprise installation to NOT install the default portal items. It adds an unnecessary burden of 18,000+ folders to the content items directory, increases the installation time as well as adds overhead to the webgisdr backup and recovery process. While I'm sure many of these items are very interesting, we also don't need all these extra items taking up space in our Portal's table of contents.

This is probably a really noob question that I've wondered about for years, but have never been able to determine a solid answer. Why doesn't the ArcGIS JS API CDN have Subresource Integrity hash (SHA256, SHA384) and crossorigin values? Similar to other libraries like jQuery? <script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.4.1.min.js" integrity="sha256-CSXorXvZcTkaix6Yvo6HppcZGetbYMGWSFlBw8HfCJo=" crossorigin="anonymous"></script> Thanks.

Did you ever get any direction or suggestions on implementing this? I'm in the process of setting up a single machine in a DMZ with ArcGIS Server, Portal, Datastore and WebAdapters installed and it's been quite a challenge, compared to the 3 internal ArcGIS Enterprise sites we've installed. Any thoughts or hints you may have would be appreciated. Thank you, Joe

The way I read this 10.5 License Manager Basics documentation, only ArcGIS Pro or Premium Apps will require the named user sign-on through Portal for ArcGIS. It appears that there will still be an ArcGIS License Manager that will administer your concurrent use licenses for ArcGIS Desktop.

Thanks Michelle and Joe B., We have deployed ArcGIS Server Geocode Services that reference the SDE Locators which seems to be working for our users. I developed a template DefaultLocators.xml file that points all our users to our ArcGIS Server Services so that they get them by default in ArcMap/ArcCatolog. Users are able to review/rematch until their hearts are content. We developed a Python script to automatically rebuild the SDE locators and made it a scheduled task. Life is good in geocoding land.... Joe

Joe B., Thanks again to you and Bob for all your help. I was hoping that someone from ESRI's geocoding crew would be eavesdropping on this conversation and chime in at some point. No such luck. I'll start the process with tech support and post back here if or when there is an explanation. Joe H.

Bob, Joe B., Thanks for the continued support and ideas. I took another test DB, deleted all the versions that we had on it so only DEFAULT was present. I created the address locator as GISAdmin. Used GISUser to geocode, but still couldn't rematch. I'm out of ideas. Thanks, Joe

Bob, Good thought, but I went down the path (for testing purposes only on our "test" server) of giving the GISUser all of the same Database Role Membership permissions as our GISAdmin user in order to suss out if something was getting written (updateable join as you mentioned?) into SDE behind the scenes. I still get the error. Thanks, Joe H.
