I work for a small City and was disappointed v2.4 does not have the polygon traverse tool. Just attended UC2019 and am making an effort to start using PRO. However, I agree with previous posts that creating a traverse from polyline & converting to polygon is just extra work! Please add this capability!

I'm using a custom Print Service in AGO and the scale bar has previously printed in FEET (same as the map templates are formatted). One user just pointed out that the maps are now printing in MILES as default, and I was wracking my brain until I spotted the comments above! Please, let's return to honoring the scale bar measure in the map templates!

Successfully using a State Plane Basemap with the geoprocessing service. Looks like as long as the Basemap projection matches the geoprocessing service all is well, Good Luck!

I’ve implemented a geoprocessing service, from Modelbuilder, to trace upsteam in a geometric network. The in-memory display Results are sewer manholes along the upstream path. An initial test of the geoprocessing service in ArcMap worked as expected, with the correct projection of the Result (in- memory layer) as State Plane. (Environments of Modelbuilder were populated with State Plane coordinate system for ‘outputs’) But, when using the service in a geoprocessing widget within Web AppBuilder on AGO, the display Results projects as WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere. (the result shows up in Poland) When I re-run the tool in ArcMap, I can see the results layer in the TOC & under LayerProperties>Source tab the spatial reference is WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere. How can I set the in-memory output to State Plane?

I'm using SQL Server 2008 R2, sde v10 geodatabases, and Desktop v10.2.2. 'PublicWorks' geodatabase exists in the sde schema, 'GIS' geodatabase in the dbo schema. Running the following script establishes a connection to 'PublicWorks' instead of 'GIS'. Using the tool in ArcToolbox establishes the connection correctly to the GIS db. Why is the attached script not connecting to the GIS geodatabase?

Looking for arcpy syntax to change a mxd from data view to layout view and zoom to a certain scale. The following works to change from layout view to data view, but I also need the opposite. Thanks all! import arcpy, arcpy.mapping as map, sys, os mxd = map.MapDocument("CURRENT") data_frame = map.ListDataFrames(mxd)[0] # Switch to data view mxd.activeView=data_frame.name for df in map.ListDataFrames(mxd): df.scale=2400 arcpy.RefreshActiveView() del mxd

How did you 'materialize' the view to featureclass? (And get it to update daily?) I have a spatial view using a table view and a fc in a full outer join and was ready to abandon it because of drawing speed until I saw this thread. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
