That makes sense. I joined a new organization and probably need to set up a new account. You really can't use WAB without a portal or ArcGIS online organization account then right?

How do you specify a portal URL if you are just using your ArcGIS for Developers account? Under Specify Your Portal URL it says: Specify the URL for the ArcGIS Online organization or Portal for ArcGIS account that you want Web AppBuilder to access. To use Web AppBuilder, you must have an ArcGIS Online organization account, a Portal for ArcGIS account, or an ArcGIS for Developers account Get started—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers

Yep I fixed the problem just wanted to know if it was a known issue. If it's not its probably something obscure I did.

The exact errror message from the logs was: Layer(s) or table(s) are not configured for Sync. I did want everything to have the same geometry. I just needed every feature to be contained within the state of Michigan, the exact location doesn't matter. The dot showed up in my MXD just fine, I just had to export then reimport multiple tables in order to get them to publish. Thanks Guys!

SDE 10.3 SQL Server 2012 R2 My SQL was: update USERASSIGNMENT set shape = geometry::STPointFromText('POINT (26037125.623245418 652287.62337251008)', 102688) where OBJECTID > 0 The one thing I should have mentioned but didnt was that it published fine unless I wanted to sync enable it. So I enabled archiving, then publish as a feature layer with sync enabled. Then it failed with a generic error but the logs said something like "unable to publish because the feature layer isn't sync enabled." Thanks

I tried updated the geometry in my Feature Class using geometry:STPointFromText and it looked as though it worked but then the MXD wouldn't publish. I fixed it by exporting to a FGDB then re importing. Are you allowed to at least edit the tabular data in SQL Server Management Studio (text, int, guid, etc)? Or are you required to do everything through ArcMap? I just don't want this to happen again.

edit.startOperation()

When I upgraded to 10.2.6 everything compiled just fine but my basemaps are all gray. I don't see any problems with the codebase or the map packages. The little esri icon is in the corner but the maps just don't appear. I'm running on a VM on Mac if that makes any difference.

I'm having trouble querying non feature tables in the sdk (tables without geometry). I've seen other posts where people add fake geometries to get it to work. Is there another way? Thanks!

I'm printing from the Samples Application and I get different results depending on what printer I used, I've been trying to integrate this code into my own application but have been having the same problem. My HP printer offcenters everything about 25 pixels to the left (the map runs off the page to the left). My PDF (Print Primo) offcenters everything about 50 pixels to the right (the map runs off the page to the right). The Windows XPS Document generator prints everything perfectly (map is right in the center). The temporary work around is to print to the XPS document generator then send it to the printer, but I would like find another work around. Has anyone had similar problems? If I try to fix it on one printer it just messes up another. Thank you in advance.
