Is there a setting that prevents the line graph template in the Infographic widget in Web App Builder from auto resizing the vertical axis range AND/OR that will show all category data points instead of automatically adding the horizontal scroll bar when additional data are added? I have a line graph with date as the horizontal axis category and count data for the vertical axis value. When I update the graph data it doesn't show the most recent value at the end of the chart by default, and a user has to scroll to the right to see the most recent date/value. Scrolling is not 'live' and the vertical axis range also changes so it makes it impossible to see a trend over multiple dates. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks Ben. Meant to update my post earlier; turns out I was using a filter on the non-generalized U.S. States feature service which is 'subscriber' content that was causing the public permissions issue. When I removed that and used my own source it worked fine. Still weird behavior, but at least it's working now.

I have an operations dashboard shared publicly (everyone), the webmap and layers in the dashboard are also shared pubicly, and anonymous access is enabled for our organization. Everytime I go to the short URL (or the long URL as per instructions on this site and elsewhere with organizational url OR basic arcgis.com url) it prompts with a weird popup that says "please sign in to ArcGIS Online." The options are "OK" and "Cancel". If I click Cancel it pops up again (after actually loading part of the dashboard), and then when I click "Cancel" a second time the dashboard loads as it should. OR I can click "OK" and a new window will open prompting a log-in through our organizational page. If I share this as-is a lot of people are going to be confused by the login prompt. Assistance appreciated. ArcGIS Web Application or Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS (short URL) UPDATE: Still had a layer that was subscriber content that I didn't have permisson to share publicly. Fixed by removing that layer. Also decided to just go with the web mapping app (dashboard theme) instead of operations dashboard because I found it to be more flexible for my current needs. https://samford.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=5d07a1a339d841c2b1b72eeec2051781

Use of these story maps for collaborative group projects will have to be scrapped for now. This is incredibly frustrating when Group settings in ArcGIS Online clearly state that "Members can update all items, including changing the item's description and content." Please add a disclaimer that story maps are not included in this blanket statement. At least now I know...

It would be nice if the mean of circular data could be calculated using the basic table statistics function. For example, when aspect values are extracted to point locations, the arithmetic mean is useless because the data are circular (e.g., azimuths 1 and 359 are both nearly due north, but their arithmetic average is 180...due south). It can be very frustrating trying to understand/explain the correct formula to calculate the "average" slope direction to students or less-than-savvy GIS users and I suspect many reports have included erroneous results. A simple option to calculate circular mean in the 'Data' tab of the chart properties in ArcGIS Pro after clicking statistics for an attribute table field would be great.

Is there an equivalent tool to "extract values to points" in ArcGIS Online? A spatial join would achieve a similar result, but doesn't support imagery layers.

I haven't received any updates. For now I just have to remember to go into Integromat every couple weeks, or wait until I get an email about an error and then reprocess the submission after the token refresh.

Hi Keith...good to know that this expires again in a couple weeks. I haven't pursued an answer, but moving forward I'm interested in a more long term solution as well.

I have a webhook setup with Survey123 through Integromat that sends an email through gmail when a survey is submitted. Today I started getting a warning: Cannot initialize the scenario because of the reason 'Scenario validation failed - 1 problem(s) found.' Failed to verify connection 'My ArcGIS Online connection'. [498] refresh_token expired I'm hoping this is a simple refresh/re-path somewhere, but I'm not sure if it's on the Survey123 side or the Integromat side. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

This is working beautifully. Thanks so much. I haven't made the whole process very elegant yet, but you've helped me get exactly what I need for now. I'm using a slightly cumbersome method to get the new lines to work. Instead of the chr(10) newline, I just added a semi-colon to separate the results. Then I open the text file with all the output values in word and replace all the semi-colons with a new line (^l). That gets saved and opened in excel to create the .csv. It isn't pretty, but it's fine for the current project I'm working on. Thanks again!

I am testing out various methods for extracting values from raster datasets to points as a demonstration to my students of various surface analysis workflows. This example in particular is extracting slope (degrees) values. Here are the methods I'm using: Traditional/local data: Use GP tools to derive a slope raster from a local elevation dataset, then extract the values to points (works as expected). Local data/raster functions: Use the slope raster function on the local DEM, extract values to points (works as expected). Terrain (Slope in Degrees) Image service: Extract slope values from the Image service. The values are integer, which is fine, and the results are comparable to the traditional methods (works as expected). Terrain Image Service with slope raster function: I apply the slope raster function to the Terrain Image Service, then extract the values to points...This returns slope values that are much greater than expected (ex. expected value of 4 deg, but a returned value of 23 deg) and I can't figure out the reason why. I suspect this may be related to the display scale of the terrain image service, but I can't seem to find out why in order to fix the workflow on my end. My biggest concern is that my students (or I) will end up with erroneous data by incorrectly using this method in the future. I need to better understand what's going on under the hood to avoid potential pit-falls. As a side note, I ran the 'Difference' process tool/function on the correct slope dataset and the incorrect one and the results were zero, indicating to me that the correct values are in there somewhere. Thanks! Using ArcGIS Pro 2.3.1

I'm working with a project file in ArcGIS Pro that uses multiple model-builder windows. Accordingly, I have several model "tabs" open in various panes. When I save and close the project file and then re-open it, some of the model tabs have been replaced by a completely different model from my project toolbox. For example, in my top pane I have a catalog tab, two map tabs, and three separate models. The last model is called 'TestTableValues'...and here's where it gets weird. When I reopen the project after save/close, the 'TestTableValues' model appears to load in the correct pane/tab, but when it completes the initial "loading" operation that it does when opening a project the 'TestTableValues' model is replaced by another model in my toolset that's just named 'Model'. I think it's a bug, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this issue before I report it. Is this really a big deal?...all I have to do is re-open (edit) the model that I actually want and re-dock it in the correct pane. But, I have multiple panes and multiple models that work on data at different temporal scales, so having to re-do the layout of my project every time I open the project is a bit annoying. It has also happened with other model tabs, although I have only been able to consistently reproduce the example noted above. Also, when I return to this project after being away from it for a while it takes some time to figure out how to get my workflow put back together...especially when it actually loads the wrong model in place of the correct one. Any insight or suggestions are appreciated. I've reproduced this with both Pro 2.3.0 and 2.3.1.
