Hi there, I was "passed" a physical copy of a web app which was created using WAB-D. The app works just fine but we needed it on a different server. So, I moved it over and it functions as intended. However, now we want to make edits to the app. And honestly, I would really prefer to use the builder rather than attempt coding alterations for these specific items. So, I start up WAB- Developer and choose > Import > Import From Computer. I then browse to the appname.zip. It thinks for a second and then returns "Invalid App". What am I doing wrong? Is this not the intended functionality? Notes: The original creator/owner of the app was working within our organizational account as well. The app was developed using 1.1 and, although I am now using 1.2, I did backtrack and try with WAB-D 1.1 Is there any other way to bring an existing app into WAB for editing? Thanks in advance, Juliana

I'm wondering if it's possible to define more than one owner for a web map/app in AGOL. I know the admin has full capabilities but I need lower level users to be able to collaborate on the actual creation and editing process. The "Share" option is just to limit viewing access, right- I need shared ownership. Does such a setting exist? Moving items back and forth between users is bulky and annoying. Thanks, Juliana

Hi guys, I'm upgrading everything to 10.3.1 and a newer version of postgres. I see in the documentation that postgres 9.3.5 is listed as one of the "minimum supported database versions". But, anyone know if postgres 9.5 is supported? I would just assume go as far ahead as I can since I'm already doing a major upgrade from 9.0.x. Thanks in advance, Juliana

This is just a simple thought, but... Make sure that you do not have the script open in your IDE when you are trying to run in ArcMap and the other way around. This will cause locking/permissions problems like what you are seeing

Thanks for the tip to use routing, bondah. Does anyone out there know how to go about the batch production of trail profiles? I sure have a lot of trail segments and it would be terrible to have to do manually. Thanks, J

Hi, I'm working with trails data and looking to create profiles for each trail segment to be exported as an image. My issues are twofold: 1) I used Interpolate Shape (based on a DEM) to convert my polyline trails to 3D and then selected the Profile Graph Tool. For straight segments, all is great but with switchbacks and loops, the profiles are totally crazy. It looks like the profile is being captured from a single vantage point and does not adjust position with the line. Does that make sense? I need the viewing point to remain at 90 degrees to the trail. What am I doing wrong? 2) Since I am working with many trails and trail segments, I want to write a python script to handle the creation and saving of profile images. But, the ArcGIS 10.1 Help documentation for Profile Graphs doesn't give the usual scripting syntax and examples. Anyone know where I can get this information? Thanks so much in advance, Juliana
