Hi @JoseSanchez , You can create a collaboration workspace between your ArcGIS Enterprise (guest) and ArcGIS Online (host). The host (ArcGIS Online) must grant the guest (ArcGIS Enterprise) with Send and Receive access to the collaboration workspace. Synchronization feature layer edits two-way Starting at 10.9, when a participant has Send and Receive access to a collaboration workspace, they can allow two-way syncing of data edits to feature layers they share as copies, allowing two-way sharing of data edits. When a scheduled synchronization occurs, edits made to the source feature layer will be shared to the receiving participant and edits made by the receiving participant will be shared to the source layer. Synchronizations are initiated by the guest on scheduled intervals. During synchronizations, content newly shared to the collaboration group, as well as the deltas for previously shared content, will be synchronized with other participants' groups. Check this link for further details. https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/schedule-the-synchronization-of-feature-layer-edits.htm Regarding your second question, I would recommend that you use Branch Versioning as it can scale a lot better. You can create custom branches in ArcGIS Pro and configure your web map to point to a specific named branch if you want or you can leave it pointing to the default branch. ArcGIS Experience Builder also has a widget for the management of branch versions: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/latest/configure-widgets/branch-version-management-widget.htm The default branch also scales a lot better as it does not incur in internal locking. Named branches, in a long transaction model, can't be edited by multiple users at the exact same time. In a short transaction model I believe they do support now though requires testing to be sure. The Feature Service specification includes a property "gdbVersion" that allows you to point to a named version. Otherwise defaults to SDE.DEFAULT. A simple way to approach this is to publish the feature service and add it to a web map. Use ArcGIS Experience Builder with the widget to manage versions and leave up to the user. Just like with ArcGIS Pro, the user will create a named version, switch to the version and do their edits. Alternatively, if you haven't protected your default version, the user can edit the layer as usual. In this case, changes would be introduced to the default version of the database. It all depends on your use case. Thanks, Jose

Hi guys, From what I can see the issue seems to be the following: 1 - App Gateway Ingress Controller (AGIC) is created in the Azure Kubernetes Service and configured with App Gateway. This creates an ingress controller with the routing in AGIC and pushes some default settings to App Gateway. The routing here is not fully functional because the 'arcgis' helm chart has not been installed yet. 2 - Once the helm chart starts the install, arcgis-ingress-nginx is created and this triggers App Gateway to update its settings including backend pools etc. The admin URL here is not functional yet. 3 - Once the helm chart install is complete it moves to 'configure'. It makes a call to check if the admin URL is available and because it's not, it waits up to 15 minutes (900 seconds). 4 - At some point, App Gateway installs the backend pools and https settings and the admin URL becomes functional, though it has not completed updating it's settings yet. The 'arcgis' helm chart configure function starts working thinking the admin URL is now functional. 5 - App Gateway stops the admin URL availability for a second as it finalizes it's update. It now states Started rather than Updating. Meanwhile, the 'arcgis' helm chart makes a second call later in the script to validate the organization admin URL ... but it does not wait. So when the 2nd call happens exactly when app gateway interrupts the service for a second the install fails. This is why this is random. Sometimes App Gateway does not interrupt the service reason why in these times everything works fine. It would be great if the second call could also wait few minutes. Thanks, Jose

Hi @JeffShaner, I thought that field maps would comply with the settings set at the web map level? If we add a layer to the web map using the "gdbVersion" parameter, which is simply a pointer to the version we are looking for, my expectation is that when the layer is rendered in field maps, it should use this version instead of default. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/use-branch-version-in-map-viewer/m-p/1151060 You can easily test that querying a branch feature service with a gdbVersion other than default get's you results from the branch version not default. But sure, the editing workflow is slightly different when you edit a branch version, as you have to start an editing operation, and undo's/redo's work a bit differently as well. But if this is already implemented, and what Field Maps does not have is the ability to switch between versions, then we could simply create a branch version in advance called "qa_qc" and edit the web map layers to use this version instead of default through the gdbVersion parameter. Field Maps could just accept this as being valid.

Hi guys, Can you implement support for react 17.0.2 (latest) on the @esri/calcite-components-react package? I can't use react-scripts 5 without this upgrade otherwise I get a lot of react hook failures due to the react libraries not matching. Cheers, Jose

Hi Colin, Thanks for replying and confirming that it is coming hopefully in the next release of the SDK. Regarding your question it really depends on the organisation we are working with. Examples: - Integration between ArcGIS and SAP PO or SAP Gateway. Every CRUD operation must be kept in sync with SAP. There is a queuing mechanism for this. So we have scheduled tasks running nightly to move the deltas (and other additional information) back into SAP. - Provide a way for third party systems to easily poll for updates that happened in GIS. Because the centralized archives are lost when you deactivate Archiving we keep track of the last 90 days deltas into a separate table which can then be accessed via SQL or through REST/SOAP. - Have custom services that provide to client apps access to historical data As a side note, I hope that History (not just Archiving) is implemented throughout the platform soon. I believe many people including myself would be happy with this. Or maybe having the ability to restore the archive tables with the geodatabase once you re-enable Archiving. Cheers, Jose

Hi, Is the Portal web dr tool backwards compatible? If we do a software update on the standby server e.g. move from 10.5 to 10.6 can we load backups that have been generated by an older version? Note that the 10.5 active node is still up and running. If not, is there a way to enable a read-only mode on the Portal for ArcGIS active node? Cheers, Jose

Hi, How do I get access to the archive table associated with a feature class using the ArcGIS Pro SDK? In the past we could access directly the archive table using the code below: IArchivableClass archivableClass = table as IArchivableClass; where table is an ITable. I have a batch script coded in ArcObjects to abstract us from the underlying gdb schema changes that require conversion to the new SDK. // This is my ArcGIS Pro feature class object FeatureClass featureClass = geodatabase.OpenDataset<FeatureClass>("SDE.DBO.MyFeatureClass"); How can I get the archive table associated with this feature class directly? Cheers, Jose

Hi, We have Portal for ArcGIS 10.4 configured with ADFS 2016. We also have an SOI on a server that filters data based on a user profile. We are developing a UWP app that contains data from two different systems SAP/Hybris and ArcGIS. All resources from both parties are secured through ADFS, however, each system has their own OAuth2 implementation. The main login is from SAP which gets a token through OAuth2. This token does not work with ArcGIS so during the main logon we also have to generate an OAuth2 token for ArcGIS using the same credentials. We don't want a new login page from Portal for ArcGIS. We have tried using the AuthenticationManager class with token implicit but this always prompts us for credentials. We have tried to set a username and password in the GenerateCredentialAsync method but it still prompts us for a username and password. var credential = await AuthenticationManager.Current.GenerateCredentialAsync(..., username, password) Is there a way to login to ArcGIS using OAuth2 implicit named users behind the scenes? We have tried using the proxy page but that has been configured for OAuth2 app logins not named user logins. We need that the user identity is carried all the way to the SOI. Is there a way of doing this? Cheers, Jose
