I would like to display a note in survey when it is opened (before it is submitted) when the total number of previously submitted records is equal to (or greater than ) certain number. The number of records would change very quickly, so updating the text file for use in pulldata() would not be dynamic enough.

I have published a public survey and I can open it on iPhone/iPad using the link of the following format: arcgis-survey123://?itemID=1111 Android devices do not know what to do with this protocol, and when I open the app and go to Download Surveys, it tells me to login. How can I point to/search for/open a public survey in an Android app?

I am trying to figure out how to have a line break honored in my survey title. I want "Winter Shelter" to be on its own line. I have tried adding <br> tag but it just shows up as text. I have it "Winter Shelter" on its own line in the Excel form but this does not seem to have a difference. I added '\n' to the text but it does not seem to honor it (again "\n" just shows up as text). Any ideas? https://survey123dev.arcgis.com/webclient/e1b2044dcc5942fca9905d711e5b39bd

I am wondering if there is a way to split up a long select_one list into sections. For example, I want to use values 1 and 6 as non-selectable bold or capitalized entries in the list: 1 HEADER: Homeless Situation 2 Place not meant for habitation 3 Emergency shelter 4 Safe Haven 5 Interim Housing 6 HEADER: Institutional Situation 7 Foster care home or foster care group home 8 Hospital or other residential non-psychiatric facility 9 Jail, prison or juvenile detention facility 10 Long-term care facility or nursing home Is this possible?

I have created a survey using Survey123 Web, submitted a couple of test forms, and exported the data to CSV. In the output, I see values like choice0, choice2, choice4, etc. instead of the actual choices as in the form. For example, for "Are you living in a vehicle?" question, the possible answer are Yes or No. However, I am seeing answer "choice0" and "choice2" in the output. Same for "Length of Current Homelessness" question - "choice0" instead of actual options from the form. Is this a known issue? How do I get actual values to show up? The Analyze tab on the website shows actual values, so I know the data is there...

It just works for me using the system-generated URL on iOS. On Android, however, the system does not recognize the URL as a URL. Is there something that needs to be set in system options for Android browser to recognize type arcgis-survey123:// as a URL and to know what app to open it in?

There is a similar thread (Send notifications when survey is submitted.) from April but I thought I would see if there is an update. Is it possible to receive a notification when a survey is submitted? Also, is it possible to send a confirmation that a survey has been submitted to the submitted (if one of the entries is submitter's email)? I am thinking, it would still require GeoEvents Processor or Python/ArcRest but thought I'd see if there was an out-of-the-box way to achieve this without much customizing.

I am trying to get Survey123 app to open a survey using a url as described here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/browser/create-surveys/integratewithotherapps.htm What I am seeing on Android, is that the device does not know what protocol "arcgis-survey://" is - the link is not highlighted as a link and putting it into a browser takes me to a search page. On iOS, Survey123 app does open and attempts to download the survey. Is there a special trick to get this working on Android (I tried on Note 5 and Galaxy S7)?

Hello, I have the following survey question: Who are your main customers (check all that apply)? - Contractors - Designers - Manufacturer - Individual customers - Retailers - Other If “Other” is checked, I want a text field to appear to provide more info. This works fine (with ${Customers} ='Other' query) if “Other” is the only field that is checked. However, if “Other” and anything else is checked, the query evaluates to false. What would be the correct syntax to get the text field to display when “Other” with or without other options is selected? I tried: ${Customers} like %'Other'% ${Customers} contains 'Other' ${Customers} like *'Other'* ${Customers} contains *Other* Thank you! Katja

Thanks for posting this, very helpful!
