I used a state address locator to geocode a list of addresses. I want to perform an interactive rematch, but using the ESRI Geocoder for all unmatched addresses. I can not choose the ESRI Locator in the interactive rematch window, is this not possible? I am signed into my ArcGIS account. I have also tried setting the ESRI locator to the "active" locator. Any help would be appreciated. Kevin

I am having some problems with the split tool as well. My problem produces the results shown. Note that the split lines are not split by the polygon used (shown as the cyan grid). I tried it on several machines, using 10.1, 10.2 and now 10.2.2. I have noted several bugs surrounding the Split Tool, most seem unresolved and I suspect this is probably related.

Hi All, I am experimenting with implementing the LGIM, using SQLExpress. I am just now setting up the geodatabase, and have no data loaded. I have a fairly basic question. The LGIM.xml has a coordinate system (and extent) of N illinois... I would like to use WV State plane... however, I am concerned that if I just re-project it, the extent will not be correct. I have also thought about just over-writing the coordinate system, however, it does not change the extent. Should I worry about the extent at all or just re-project the datasets. When I create a new geodatabase, it automatically uses the projection from the data model (Illinois). Thanks! PS... the instructions provided says: Step 3: Create an empty geodatabase schema and configure the model to meet your specific needs. Use the XML workspace document to create an empty LocalGovernment.gdb for your organization. When you create the empty schema, make sure you specify the proper coordinate system and spatial reference. Once you??ve created the empty schema, add any features, fields and domain values you may need to support your implementation. If you want to localize the field names in your maps, we encourage you to use map layer or field aliases and not change the underlying field names in the LocalGovernment.gdb. If you do change a field name, you may also need to alter the editing map, mobile, or web app.

Jeff, thanks. I did look at the document, but apparently missed the text in the chart for the toolbar itself. It seems odd that ESRI wouldn't enable the symbology functions for the LAS Dataset toolbar without a 3D analyst extension, when the same functionality is available in the symbology properties menu. I understand not allowing the 3D or Profile view, but seems like the simple displays options would be available. kevin

Hi All, I am using Desktop (Advanced) 10.1 and I am attempting to use the LAS Toolbar, however, It only works with my 3D Analyst extension turned on... I though this toolbar would be available to those with anyone with a standard license level and up? (as per the training video and other docs on the ESRI website) Any reason it would not be available? PS... i do have a LAS dataset loaded, and zoomed to 100%, toolbar is still inactive. also... works fine with the 3D analyst extension on. Thanks! Kevin
