I'm having the same issue, what sort of processing are you doing that allows you to combine the files successfully?

If your points are in a layer it's possible to set the ViewPoint to the Layer.FullExtent envelope myMapView.SetViewpointAsync(new Viewpoint(YourLayerEnvelope)); Of course you have to obtain the YourLayerEnvelope

Thank you for the reply. Clearly that contains the custom HTML. When is inspect MyPopupViewer.PopupManager.CustomDescriptionHtml; it shows as attached. Clickable link works great. I've attempted several ways of displaying that in the popup to no avail. As I've indicated this is my first foray into Runtime. Fairly simple code: FeatureLayer incidentLayer = StationConstants.sfdTargetHazards_FL;
var result = await myMapView.IdentifyLayerAsync(
incidentLayer,
e.Position,
15,
false
);
Popup popup = result.Popups.FirstOrDefault();
MyPopupViewer.PopupManager = new PopupManager(popup);
popupGrid.Visibility = Visibility.Visible; Tried some things that clearly do not work such as: MyPopupViewer.PopupManager.Popup.PopupDefinition.Description = MyPopupViewer.PopupManager.CustomDescriptionHtml; That code shows the link text but not as a hyperlink. The PopupManager.ShowCustomDescriptionHtml returns true. I'll continue to research and experiment. If anyone has some direction for me, much appreciated.

I have a Portal webmap that we use in an Experience Builder app. The user clicks or touches a polygon and the popup displays a single item which is hyperlink text that opens a virtual folder. Works well. Using the same webmap to serve data to a WPF Runtime app. Clicks work. I can retrieve the data and display it in a popup. If I set the layer popup to a list of attributes all the attributes display. If I set the layer's popup to be a custom attribute display, the popup shows the link text but not as a clickable hyperlink. If I stop at a breakpoint I see: popup.CorePopup.PopupDefinition.Description <a href='{folderLink}' rel='nofollow ugc' target='_blank'>PrePlan Documents</a> which looks correct. Is there any way to grab the actual custom display? If not is there a way to programmatically create the hyperlink in the popup? I can think of a few workarounds but being new to the Runtime and WPF environment I was wondering if custom attribute links are available? Keith

I will say, for me, symbolizing by the unique values of the Subtype and republising worked and the unique coded value domains are available in Field Maps. Of note, they don't show as a combo box when configuring Field Maps but in the app during collection it displays a coded value list.

I have an infrastructure related featureclass that has heights and widths which are doubles. They have coded value domains of type double that change depending on subtype. I am trying to use the featureclass in Field Maps. Ideally the employee would pick a value, in this case of type Double, from a dropdown list of acceptable values from the coded value domain. Usually works great for text fields but doesn't seem to work with numeric (double). I get an input box of type Number - Double that requires direct input with no way to set a dropdown list. Seems to do the same when editing in the new map viewer. Don't think I've ever run across this before. Are dropdown lists not available for non-text coded domains? The domains based on the subtypes do seem to be present in the published service (ArcGIS Server) as shown by this partial copy, the subtype field is "Type" Types:ID: 1 Name: Box Domains: TYPE: Inherited MATERIAL: Inherited InspCompl: Inherited Culvert_Width: Coded Values: [3: 3 ft] , [4: 4 ft] , [5: 5 ft] , ...7 more... Hello Amanda, I accept your pun as well as the rest of your post. I thought about publishing a service locally and adding it to AGS Online, thinking it would be easier to update underlying data and then have it refresh at some interval. I thought I might append the new data to the existing, that takes care of maintaining a history. Then figure out a filter or definition query that just shows the latest location based on time. Alternately create two separate featureclasses, one for history and one where I replace the old locations with the new. I'll have to play around with it to discover the error of my ways. KG

Not necessarily looking for specific code help but mostly soliciting general ideas on how others have or would proceed. We don't have Geoevent Server. Externally, where this will run we have an ArcGIS Server setup which hosts some of our public web services. On that machine I have ArcMap 10.8 as well as the most current ArcGIS Pro. So far I've been hacking away using the existing Python 2.7 with Pythonwin. We also have an ArcGIS Online site where the Web Maps for public consumption are hosted. I was asked by one of our divisions if I could create a publicly available web map that would display snow plow locations. All of our large vehicles in Public Works have GPS tracking through a 3rd Party. That third party has given me login credentials which I can use to gain access to their SOAP endpoint. Using python I have been able to login, retrieve a session id token and then turn around and retrieve vehicle lists as well as vehicle snapshots (containing location, speed, heading, ignition status, etc.) in XML. Again using python I've been able to parse out the information I need to get it into excel and then arcpy to get it into a file geodatabase as a table. So far these steps were really just to determine whether or not I would be able to retrieve usable data. I believe I have done that. I can create points and view them in either ArcMap or Pro. As I said initially this is more a of a request for ideas. In the end I need to publish a service that I can consume in a web map that will display the current location of certain vehicles, for example snow plows. These locations will need to refresh with new locations relatively frequently when the plows are running. I will also maintain the location history of the vehicles for some period of time, undetermined at this point, in case we want to go back and display vehicle movement over time. Just for an idea of the scale of the project, there are a total of 29 vehicles and for plowing purposes they would use a small subset of those. While the plows are running I would need to have python requesting location snapshots on some periodic but frequent basis. Make some useable GIS data from it. Display the latest locations on the map while maintaining the previous locations. I'm sure there are lots of things I am not considering so I thought I would throw it out there for suggestions.

Having a look at the new map viewer using an existing web map. Web Map has various layers including a hosted tile layer with multiple sublayers. One of the sublayers is parcels and in the Map Viewer Classic I am able to set a popup on the sublayer by adding a url to the popup data. In the new Map Viewer I don't see the ability to set a popup on the sublayer of a Hosted Tile Layer. Anyone know if this is available and I am missing it? Maybe it's a future enhancement? Or perhaps I need to head down another path? Thank you.

I am in the preliminary stages of developing a widget which will require me to reference a featurelayer. Testing how to loop through layers in the map and then pick out the one I want. I found and inserted the following code which, although it runs fine, does not list the featurelayer. onOpen: function () {
console.log('onOpen');
for (var j = 0; j < this.map.layerIds.length; j++) {
var layer = this.map.getLayer(this.map.layerIds[j]);
console.log(layer.id + ' ' + layer.opacity + ' ' + layer.visible);
}
}, The code generates the following output: postCreate WidgetManager.js?wab_dv=2.10:114 widget [widgets/SelectAccidentDemo/Widget] created. Widget.js?wab_dv=2.10:25 startup Widget.js?wab_dv=2.10:42 onOpen Widget.js?wab_dv=2.10:45 World_Street_Map_8421 1 true Widget.js?wab_dv=2.10:45 AerialPhotos2017_8247 1 true Widget.js?wab_dv=2.10:45 AGSPro_TileLayer_4565 1 true Widget.js?wab_dv=2.10:67 onSignOut All is great except it is missing the hosted featurelayer. The map is linked here The featurelayer shows up in the JSON when I log in to ArcGIS Online Assistant. Thank you ahead of time for any help.

Using Survery123 for the first time today, set up a pretty simple form using the web based editor. I have 2 fields with mutiple choice answers. All goes well, data is collected and viewed online. When I download the data in any form (spreadsheet, csv, shapefile...) the answers are stored as choice1 or choice2 and so on not as the plain text answer. So the question is: Is this by design and exptected behavior, in which case 123 is not nearly as useful for me OR did I make a mistake in the design process? Thank you.
