Hi Hillary, Wouldn't setting sharing to Everyone expose the feature services in Site 2 to all users of AGOL rather than just the folks participating in the collaboration? We tried both sharing the feature services as copies and as references. Both approaches required log in credentials. Thanks, Keith

I'm trying to set up a Distributed Collaboration between two Portal sites. Site 1, the host, uses Esri's authentication and Site 2, the Guest, uses AD. I can create the collaboration group and workspace, invite the guest to join the collaboration, successfully import he response, and sync content (using 'Send & Receive') between the two portals. However, while the content from Site 1 syncs and is visible and available for use in Site 2, the Site 2 content syncs but any feature service or map using a feature service from Site 2 requires the user from Site 1 to provide login credentials to the Site 2 portal in the form of a user and password. Is there some step that I missed to connect with a site that uses AD as its log in service? Thanks, Keith

Thanks for the reply Andrew, The service was published from ArcPro. I think it was version 1.4 (It was published by another person) and he mentioend something about the advanced settings. I'll get back to him and see if used the advanced settings. If so, I'll log a bug with Tech Support. Thanks again, Keith

Hi Rafael, Thanks for the idea. But this is a issue on editing the related table, not creating the feature. I've always thought Feature Templates where to help create features and not for editing related records. Regards, Keith

Hi All, I have a web app with a feature class and a related table. In the related table there are numerous date fields to track when specific stages of a project are reached, like DateSubmitted, DateRejected, DateResubmitted, DateInvoiced, etc. In all there is around 30 different date fields in the table. My problem is that when I start editing with the Edit Widget, open the feature table, then open the related table, and then update one date, let's say DateSubmitted, from null to the current date (or any date), the rest of the date fields (DateRejected, DateResubmitted, DateInvoiced, etc.) are also updated. They use to be empty, but now they display 12/30/1899 12:00.00AM. See below... I've looked for a setting in the app or the widget but don't see anything. I've also ensured that Null values are allowed in the attributes. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance, Keith

Esri usually publishes a focused Electric and Gas agenda for the User Conference to help find sessions that apply to our industry. I haven't been able to find one this year. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Keith

Chris, Thanks for the additional details. This workaround has allowed us to log into the portal and publish surveys without having to enable anonymous login in IIS in the production environment and cause an interruption for the other apps that are using that production portal. Huge!

Hi Chris, Thanks for all of the information. This was very helpful. We ended up enabling IWA and anonymous login to the portal site. Then we used or Portal Admin account to publish the surveys. Once the surveys were published, we disabled anonymous access again. That worked in our test environment. We'll have to take a look at the remote admin access to see if we can publish surveys that way with IWA in place. Thanks, Keith

Hi James Tedrick, We are also experiencing this issue with the latest version of Connect (downloaded from the ersi site today) and publishing to ArcGIS Server 10.3.1. Shutting down IIS isn't really an option for us as there are hundreds of users on the system. Keith,

Thanks for the response Michael. I have both Survey123 for ArcGIS and Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS installed. I've done more investigation and found that I see different behavior for hyperlinks in popups depending upon what platform I am using. In Portal, using a web map with a hyperlink in the popup will open Survey123 for ArcGIS with the survey that I indicate. The same web map and hyperlink, when used in Collector, will open up the dialog that I included earlier and not open up Survey123 for ArcGIS. If, instead of using the hyperlink tool in the custom popup configuration dialog, I enter the hyperlink as part of a HTML tag (i.e: <a href='arcgis-survey123://?itemID=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&field:exposedPipe_GID={GlobalID}&field:hid_locationDescription={LOCATIONDESCRIPTION}'>Create New Inspection</a>) in the custom popup configuration dialog I have found that the popup when looked at in Portal will display the tag as text, but in Collector on a Windows machine will display the text as a hyperlink and will open Survey123 for ArcGIS when selected. On my iPhone it displays as text, like it does in a map in Portal.
