I wrote that but... import arcpy
mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument("CURRENT")
df = arcpy.mapping.ListDataFrames(mxd)[0]
aa = "'IT1300021'"
for lyr in arcpy.mapping.ListLayers(mxd):
if lyr.supports("DEFINITIONQUERY"):
if lyr.name == "waste":
lyr.definitionQuery == "Code = 'IT1300021'"

I am trying to assign a value to two shapefiles in the first data frame of my .mxd with definition query, but it seems that cannot be done. Any suggestion? Thanks Here is the code: import arcpy
mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument("CURRENT")
df = arcpy.mapping.ListDataFrames(mxd)[0]
for lyr in arcpy.mapping.ListLayers(mxd):
if lyr.name == "waste":
lyr.definitionQuery == "Code = 'IT1300021'"

@Dan Patterson thanks a lot both of you, I must read more about projections, datum, projected and geographic systems as it seems.

I have to create two world maps with these projections. But at the window of Geographic Transformation none options is given. This is what troubles me. So the only thing I can do is to change the projection from Table of Contents? Layer-Properties-Coordinate System-Projected-Mollweide (world) ?

Hi I have a shapefile for all countries and I want to project it in the two above Systems. When I am trying with Project tool none transformation is suggested or can be found. Is there any solution to this problem? Thanks in advance?

All points will be in one feature class with the use of Raster To Point tool, but I want them to be separately, that's why I asked you about the capacity.

Thanks for your reply Darren but how many points can a feature class contain so as to be able to be processed? When I say process, I mean that the only process I want to do with this huge fc is just explode it to separate feature classes. My last try was a fc with over 5.000.000 pnts, which couldn't be manipulated very easily. Thank you.

Hi I am searching for a script that will automated create a point in each cell's centre for all the cells of the raster saving them in a Geodatabase (File or Personal). Is there something like that already, or does someone have any idea how to built it? Thank a lot.

Hello I have written a script that runs excellent at a folder but when I try it at a Geodatabase it crashes, due to the reason that it has to run a reclassification of two classes my values are 0 and 1 I checked it, and it keeps showing me a message ERROR 045037. Raster has values outside range [0;1] . Why is that happening? This is the code for reclass # This function takes the maximum and minimum value of DEM
demMAXResult = arcpy.GetRasterProperties_management(demodel, "MAXIMUM")
demMINResult = arcpy.GetRasterProperties_management(demodel, "MINIMUM")
demMAX = demMAXResult.getOutput(0)
demMIN = demMINResult.getOutput(0)
LIMIT = float(demMAX) - height
outReclass = Reclassify(demodel, "Value", RemapRange([[float(demMIN),LIMIT,0],[LIMIT,demMAX,1]]), "NODATA")
outReclass.save(os.path.join(env.workspace, "rcls")) And this is the part of the code that crashes when uses the reclassified raster arcpy.CreateSpatiallyBalancedPoints_ga(os.path.join(env.workspace, "rcls"), 1, os.path.join(env.workspace, "point" + str(n))) Any help? Thanks
