Ah Michelle...so sorry for this late 'thank you!' for your response. I ended up using a local GDB for the workspace. However, have you ever heard of Data Reviewer using a positional accuracy routine to spot differences between a feature class and a CAD data set? I need to review discrepancies between CAD and GIS. Is this possible?

Paul! So good to see your response! Thank you for even responding to such an old post...I don't even remember how I did it but yes, I believe that a dimension class has properties in which one can edit the value displayed by the dimension to read whatever you'd like it to be. Again, old post so I'm not quite sure how I overcame the challenge but I reviewed the map I made when I posed the question and it seems that it's possible to 'substitute' text over the numeric distance. Good to hear from you man! Thanks again!

Has anyone dealt with tiny line segments (anywhere from 0.009' - 0.20' that are not platted lengths)? I am using high quality closed polylines from CAD that are being processed carefully and then made into polygons. Then once loaded into my staging workspace for topological processing, I inspect the resulting line classes and sort the length field ascending and.....'boom'....there they are. Practically magic.....it is maddening. Thoughts?

Having trouble starting a Reviewer session on a versioned parcel fabric in SDE. My guess is that it is not able to create a reviewer table without permissions on my part? Anyone else have this issue?

How do I get sign-in credentials for the Service Catalog for Emergency Management (located: http://arcgis4em.maps.arcgis.com/home/group.html?id=394a043fdd2d4344bec2c3a79410efec )? Tried with my organizational creds but apparently I need to be part of that group to use the content? When I try, this is what it looks like:

Awesome...very helpful Ryan. I suspected as much but it's nice to validate it with experienced users too. I will only really be creating one additional new fabric dataset in a different geodatabase but wanted to be able to move the domain changes forward as well. Is that tool Export XML Workspace Document or is there another GP tool more specific? Thanks for your help Ryan.

Tim, so sorry for the delay, and thank you for yours! Um, yes...it happened while running the GP tool (Load a Topology). I haven't used the tool since then but will try again to see if it happens again. Thanks for the insight.

Thanks for your response Ryan. Yes...I want to "preserve" the modifications I've made so that I can repeatedly create a parcel fabric from scratch and have those be the default schema. Also, if I've made changes to the layer symbologies that come with the ESRI schema (when you create a parcel fabric), can I somehow preserve those (a layer package perhaps?)

Using the Load a Topology to a Fabric tool, and a feature class of previously validated and corrected features (with one selected in the attribute table) this error pops up.... Anyone ever encounter this. The message is so clear and explanatory I'm wondering why I even needed to come here and ask...

I'm still very much a novice in the behavior of the parcel fabric. I have "Steven's Manor" subdivision as the highest weight and the surrounding tax parcels as a lower weight and the red points are line points. I am just trying to understand the relationship aspects of these parcels by using the "Transform Parcel" tool and I moved the subdivision boundary a little to the west of where it's spatially correct position is and one point (the SE corner of the tax parcel) will not move. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I'm adapting the default LGIM created along with a parcel fabric and want to add additional domains or subtypes (there are all kinds of platted easements and tracts as an example) but want to "re-package" these modifications so that we possess a "template" version for our organization. Can anyone tell me if they've done something similar?

I am migrating polygons as source data and a model creates the lines from them. When the cogo fields are added, how or when do the bearings and distances get calculated?

Thank you Amy. I've decided to forego using it in my model. I know the Esri documentation suggests it as part of the work-flow but there's no guarantee the tool will make coincidence according to plat or deed. So, I'm letting the matter go to topological review and compare any violations to the record to make a decision on how to repair. Thank you for your answer!

Justin, Thank you. Do you know if this still contains the "LandRecordsStaging10.lpk" that's referenced in this Esri article? http://www.esri.com/events/seminars/parcel-fabric/resources/~/Media/Files/Pdfs/events/seminars/parcel-fabric/resources/d…
