Hi Andy, Are you allowing anonymous authentication when connectiong to Workflow Manager server? In order to successfully retrieve any portal users, Workflow Manager server must be secured and users must provide credentials when accessing it. Having a mix of authenticated and non-authenticated scenarios could cause this intermittent issue. Hope this helps. Thanks, Lalaine

Hi Helen, Assuming you've setup your Workflow Manager viewer as a registered Portal app, I don't see why you would get prompted to enter your ArcGIS Online account. You can refer to Set up security using ArcGIS Portal Authentication to help troubleshoot your issue. If you're still unable to resolve the issue, open a ticket with tech support and let them know to send the case to the Workflow Manager team Thanks, Lalaine

Hi Helen, If you have Workflow Manager Server secured behind ArcGIS Portal, you will need to configure your JavaScript viewer to use portal authentication. There is a "Set up security using ArcGIS Portal Authentication" section in the JavaScript viewer README.pdf file that should help you with setup. Hope that helps. Lalaine

Hi Tatiana, It is recommended that you upgrade your Workflow Manager repository for compatibility issues. Use the Upgrade Workflow Database GP tool under Workflow Manager tools to upgrade your repository. Thanks, Lalaine

Hi Helen, What version of Workflow Manager are you using? The Workflow Manager viewer will render the LOI map service as it is published. To get the polygons to show up in the color that you want, you will need to create a new map (MXD), import the JTX_JOBS_AOI/POI layers into your map, edit the symbology and republish the map service. Thanks, Lalaine Workflow Manager Team

Hi Helen, Please answer the following questions so we can better help you. - What version of Workflow Manager Server / JavaScript viewer are you using? - Is your Workflow Manager Server secured behind ArcGIS Portal or ArcGIS Server via tokens? - Are you sharing your Workflow Manager Server as an ArcGIS Online service? - How have you configured security for the Workflow Manager Javascript viewer (windows, token, portal)? If you could share your AppConfig.js file, we can help debug the issue. Thanks, Lalaine Workflow Manager Team

Hi Adam, WMJobTask has a getJob(jobId, callback, errback) method that you can use instead. More information on WMJobTask can be found at http://workflowsample.esri.com/doc/javascript/jsapi/WMJobTask.html. The sequence of calls for updating the job name would be: WMJobTask.createJob(..) -- this returns the jobID of the newly created job WMJobTask.getJob(jobID,...) -- get the job information WMJobTask.updateJob(...) -- update job properties as needed Hope this helps. Thanks, Lalaine

Hi Mike, Yes, if you call CreateJob with a specified AOI parameter, then that AOI (polygon) is saved in the JTX_JOBS_AOI table and associated with the newly created job. Job AOIs can be created/updated anytime using the UpdateJob service. Examples are available in the REST API Help. Since you are using Flex, we also have the Workflow Manager Flex API available for use. Workflow Manager Flex API Download Hope that helps. Thanks, Lalaine

An updated JavaScript viewer will be available as part of the WMX 10.1 SP1 release that will be compatible with IE7 and earlier versions of IE, and works with IE8 and IE9 in compatibility view. The WMX 10.1 JavaScript viewer doesn't seem to be compatible with IE7 or earlier versions, or with compatibility view in IE8 or IE9. Looks like a fix will have to be applied to the viewer. WMX 10.1 JS Viewer Example: http://workflowsample.esri.com/wmjs/
