Would this be the self signed certificate by the ArcGIS Server Machine? How to I make sure the 6443 certificate is correct?

I can reach the https://gis.mymetcon.com outside of the network, but not internally. I can access the https://metconapp.metcon.domain:6443/arcgis internally through a web browser, but when I try to connect to the server using that URL inside of ArcGIS Desktop it shows the certificate error that the names do not match and the certificate it directs to is for www.gis.mymetcon.com.

I don't think we are allowed to use local server names in the SAN to the certificate, is that correct?

When trying to publish a map service using python using the arcpy.mapping.CreateMapSDDraft I'm getting the following pop-up: gis.mymetcon.com works to access our ArcGIS Server Manager and Admin Site. In our ArcGIS Server Administrator Directory under our machine, there are 3 SSL Certificates (root, selfsignedcertificate, and www.gis.mymetcon.com). I think the mismatch is coming in when I try to publish the service to our domain site (Metconapp.metcon.domain), but it is erroring since the name on the certificate is www.gis.mymetcon.com? Any ideas on what might be going on? We are using Windows 2012 IIS 8 Server Manager. Our All the certificates seem to be valid and not expired. Any troubleshooting help is greatly appreciated.

When attempting to connect to our ArcGIS Server through 6443 or 6080 Inside of ArcMap (or when trying to publish a map service via python) I get the message "The Certificate you are viewing does not match the name of the site you are trying to view." This message just started happening over the weekend and as far as I can tell nothing has changed and the certificate is still in a valid timeframe.

I have a map with a time slider. I've created a Div element that shows the local time in two minute intervals. I want it to follow a shapefile as it moves across the screen diagonally, down and to the right. The element is in the right place at first, but on the second time change it disappears. I'm not sure what I'm missing. I've defined the Div position in the css, and I want to change it with each time change. Here are the relevant sections of my code. #timePanel {
position: absolute;
top: 225px;
left: 300px;
z-index: 50;
}
function timeMove() {
var elem = document.getElementById("timePanel");
var pos = 225;
var id = setInterval(frame, 2000);
function frame() {
pos++;
elem.style.top = pos + '25px';
elem.style.left = pos + '100px';
}
}
timeSlider.on("time-extent-change", function(evt) {
var startValString = evt.startTime.toLocaleTimeString(navigator.language, {hour: '2-digit', minute:'2-digit', timeZoneName: 'short'})
;
dom.byId("daterange1").innerHTML = "<b>" + startValString + "<\/b>"
dom.byId("daterange2").innerHTML = "<b>" + startValString + "<\/b>"
timeMove();
});

I'm trying to add units to a layer list legend in a map service. I changed the generic <VALUE> in ArcMap to "Fahrenheit" but this does not show up when the service is published. I only see the layer name and the legend items. Is this something I can set in the JS?

I have a Python geoprocessing tool that creates a chart from a click on our website. I'm trying to put our company's logo in the chart, but it's a little too big and it's blocking some of the X axis labels. I've tried physically resizing the .png in Windows and linking to the smaller version. No matter which one I use, it's displayed the same size in the chart. I haven't been able to find a clear solution online. Here is my code: fig, ax1 = plt.subplots(figsize=(12,8),facecolor='w')
logo = plt.imread(get_sample_data("our logo"))
axim = fig.add_axes([0.01,0.01,0.2,0.14], anchor='SW')
axim.imshow(logo, aspect='auto')
axim.axis('off')

I have a map service with a NetCDF raster layer with vector field symbology. It uses arrows to show U and V wind components. This is a time enabled raster. All of my other layers are visible in the Javascript preview on the REST services page, but this layer is not. I know it published because it's layer 0 in the directory. Has anyone had a similar problem?

My script does have that section, so it was definitely not catching that missing data source. I got the service to publish, but all the layers except for one are missing. I'll try again.
