The layers in the TOC are in the reverse order that they are listed in the main config.xml. So, the first layer listed under <operationallayers> will be at the bottom of the TOC, the last layer in the <operationallayers> section will be at the top of the TOC. R_ Appreciate the response. For the most part that is quite true, but often the ordering is ignored. I wonder if it has something to do with different layers loading up at different rates? Sigh.

The layers in the TOC always appear in a random order, is there any way to make them stop doing that? Sorry if this question has already been answered, I could'nt find it. Lewis.

Hi Again--sorry for the confusion. What I am trying to say is that the feature's labels in the Map (not in the TOC list) are ignored by TOC when they are referenced as feature layers. When layers from the same service are referenced as a dynamic layer by TOC there is no problem. Please see attached .jpg panels. Thanks very much!! Lewis.

This widget works fine when layers are listed in the TOC as part of a 'dynamic' layer. But when the same layers are listed individually as 'feature' layers, their labels get ignored. Is there a way to remedy this? Thanks very much, Lewis.

We have upgraded ArcServer to 10.x from 9.3, now several feature data sets (polygons, polylines) dissappear when scale dependancies are applied to them (generally at the low end 1:2000 - 1:30,000). It is as if the numbers entered in the "Do not show above/below" boxes are ignored in favor of some other ghost numbers(?). We have tried publishing on multiple ArcServer instances runing on completely different machines with same result. The only solutions appears to be abandoning 10.x in favor of a downgrade back to ArcServer 9.x (boo).

Is there a widget or a text field that could be added to sites under development. --Often times I will send out a test flex site for review and either get no response from users or sticky notes on my desk about changing fonts or colors. It would be cool if there was some kind of dynamic text field or widget where visitors could post comments about the beta site?
