Hello, I have installed Portal for ArcGIS 10.9.1 (wadesappgis001a) and ArcGIS Server 10.9.1 (wadesappgis002a) on two separated machines. The base installation was successful, but when I would done the federation, it will not work. Research with the IT people, it seems that the used WebAdaptors IP address point to a non desired IP. Below the situation: on machine wadesappgis002a I have following situation, machine point to two different IP address. When I install the WebAdaptor, I receive following situation: How is it possible to force the WebAdaptor from ArcGIS Server to use IP address from machine to IP=10.36.85.14. I had the same problem with the Portal WebAdaptor, to change the IP Adress, I used the the edit mode. Is there somewhere a same edit mode for ArcGIS Server or another solution to resolve this? Effectively. I never received a response to the question of certificate. It was for the version 20.1.2. Now is available the version 21.0.1. I need to test it. Version 21.0.1 is normally the Last release. Best Regards, Marc

Hello, I just installed ArcGIS Explorer for Windows at an Offline network. What is the exact purpose from the delivered certificate into the package? This certificate is only valide for a few months. What with the renewing from this certificate? If the certificate is not renewed is this a blocking factor? Best Regards. Marc Simon marc.simon@esribelux.com

Hello, When I do the installation in a new VM Windows 10 Pro offline, without any other installation (ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro) the installation is successful. When I try to do the same installation at a VM with ArcMap 10.8.1 or ArcGIS Pro 2.6, the installation blocked after 16%. No error is given. For both installation, I install the Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.2.2, Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.2.2 and Microsoft.VCLibs.x64.14.00. Someone an advise? Best Regards, Marc Simon marc.simon@esribelux.com

Hello James, Sorry for the late answer. The workflow is very easy, all the work is done in a new VM Windows Server 2016 Standard.: Before installing, activation domain certificate throughs IIS and MMC in the Trusted Organisation Install Portal for ArcGIS 10.8 Replacing Self-signed certificate by domain certificate Install Web Adaptor for Portal for ArcGIS 10.8 Install ArcGIS Server 10.8 Replacing Self-signed certificate by domain certificate Install Web Adaptor ArcGIS Server 10.8 It is by the installation from the second web Adaptor that I receive the mention “Repair” or “Remove”. I have resolved the problem with following workflow: The workaround for this issue is to duplicate your existing webadaptor as second webadaptor. Here is the detail steps: (i assumed you used IIS and installed webadaptor on inepub/wwwroot/) wa already installed, and you name it 'waportal' > don't register anything in here (portal or arcgis server) go to c:/inetpub/wwwroot -> copy 'waportal' and paste on the same place c:/inetpub/wwroot/ by default second wa name is 'waportal copy'. rename it, for example 'waserver' Give appropriate access at this new folder in inetpub/wwwroot/ you have to convert 'waserver' as application. go to IIS Manager > in the left side expand Default Website > right click in waserver, choose convert to application you have 2 wa right now. the first is waportal and the second is waserver. register your portal on your waportal go to http://yourhost/waportal/webadaptor/ > select portal for arcgis then follow the instruction register your arcgis server on your waserver go to http://yourhost/waserver/webadaptor/ > select arcgis for server then follow the instruction.DNS This was an old solution described for the 10.4 version, but it works also for the version 10.8. I think that the failure is caused by the use from a DNS at my server. I did this while the purpose was to install a fully disconnected server in VMWare Workstation 15.5. For my next installation, I will configure specific servers (ArcGIS Enterprise, DNS, Geoportal) and share the servers in an internal virtual network. Best Regards, Marc

As explained in Install deep learning frameworks for ArcGIS—Help | Documentation I try to install the different frameworks in ArcGIS Pro 2.5 in disconnected environment. The clone from the deeplearning environment is done and activated. But when I try to install the first package tensorflow_gpu-1.14.0-cp36-cp36m-win_amd64.whl with the command conda install c:/software/tensorflow_gpu-1.14.0-cp36-cp36m-win_amd64.whl the install try to access to the inernet, this is not allowed for this installation. Someone an idea: is the workflow wrong? Is there another package to install, if yes where can I find it? Best Regards, Marc

Hello, I did a new installation with all the components in the same server. URL arcgis server is https://<machine.domain>:6443/arcgis and the portal URL is https://<machine.domain>/portal. All is federated, and hosting server activated; DataStore configured with managed Database. I change in Office the link to https://<machine.domain>/portal : no problem for the logging with domain user, but unable to load a map. Same effect for Excell as Powerpoint. In powerpoint the Add Data is disabled. What can I do? Is there a need to open a specific TCP Port? Best Regards, Marc

Configuration: Servers: Windows 2008 R2 Servers (1 server for ArcGIS and another for the Portal, federated and https configured). Desktop: Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64 bit with Office 64 bits. After install the ressources on the portal server and the ArcGIS Maps for Office 4.0, I can do a login but when I try to do "Add Map" the program try to load, but without results. After about 1 minute I receive a popup with mention : Error - Failed to load - OK. I installed also the Powerpoint features and this works fine. Where I need to have a lock ? Marc
