Is there any documentation on which versions of Enterprise, Pro, and Asset Packages play well with each other? Any dependencies etc. For example can the early preview of the fiber package work on 10.6 and Pro 2.4

I was experiencing the same issue on 10.6. Was able to resolve by adding the WMS server name to the Trusted Servers list in Settings > Security. Oddly I did not have to do this on my 10.7.1 instance...

Is the recommended action to contact Esri support, collapse all licenses into 1 entitlement, re-authorize to License Manager? I am experiencing this same exact issue on 2019 License Manager.

Had this same issue - :"C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\framework\runtime\tomcat\conf" was corrupted after some Windows Server 2008R2 patches. Copying from another server site solved the issue.

No, this doesn't work. I'm using our internal Enterprise Portal (not ArcGIS.com). When you use the Basemap Gallery Widget with esri.Config.portalUrl the Basemap Gallery Widget defaults to the same source as the portalUrl. Turns out it's actually only pulling the thumbnail icons from the portalUrl, the actual basemap tiles are coming from ArcGIS.com. Even though the web map and feature layers are shared with the 'Everyone' group the application still forces users to sign-in, which is what I am trying to avoid. The docs (https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-widgets-BasemapGallery.html#source) for the BasemapGalleryWidget indicate that it's possible to change the source of where the widget gets it's basemaps from. In this case I want to use our internal Enterprise Portal to host the web map but use ArcGIS.com for the basemaps. // Set the hostname to the on-premise portal
esriConfig.portalUrl = "https://myCustomPortal.com/portal"
// Map
var map = new WebMap({
portalItem: {
id: "66d222d3c9b94ae79c24e2f49ad95aa4"
}
});
// Create basemap widget
map.basemapWidget = new Basemaps({
view: mapView,
container: "basemapPanelDiv",
//source: "https://www.arcgis.com/"
}); Screenshot attached of the issue below. Note that only the thumbnails used in the widget are being pulled from myCustomPortal.com, the actual basemap tiles are indeed coming from arcgisonline.com

Hi - I'm developing a JS 4.x app using a web map from our Enterprise Portal. I'm coming across an issue where the Basemap Gallery widget's default source is our Portal. This is an issue because the map is requiring users to sign-in in order to authenticate against our Enterprise Portal. It appears I can change the source of where the widget pulls the basemaps from. (https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-widgets-BasemapGallery.html#source ) In order to set the source back to arcgis.com it looks like the esri/portal/Portal class needs to be used, is this correct? Has anyone implemented this?

Now if I wanted to integrate Geoevent with Portal I would need to federate this Geoevent Server with Portal? Or just register my Portal ArcGIS Server with Geoevent Manager? And I would also need to set up SSL on this Geoevent Server as well. But then when I log into Geoevent manager wouldn't that force me to use "geoeventServer.domain:6143/geoevent/manager"?

I just want to make sure I am following the correct workflow. I already have a base deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5 up and running with a federated and hosting ArcGIS Server. I'm now trying to install GeoEvent Server 10.5 on a separate machine from ArcGIS Server. In order for me to do this I think I have to first install ArcGIS Server on this separate machine and authorize it using the ArcGIS Server provisioning file, join the existing ArcGIS Server site. Then install GeoEvent Server on this machine and authorize with the GeoEvent provisioning file. Does this require the purchase of 2 ArcGIS Server licenses? Is this the correct workflow?
