I also need to hide the "Explore Feeds" and "Manage Privacy" link as we are setting up our Hub site on a Ipad in a Kiosk setting in our Museum. We do not want to give anybody the opportunity to browse outside of our hub site and search for things. Right now both these allow this to happen. The Manage Privacy link allows me to browse all over and since I'm not tracking my users, I would prefer to hide this.

Did you ever get this working? I have a similar issue - trying to deploy a Reportlab script as a Web Tool. It runs in ArcPro in our cloned environment just fine (both locally and directly on server) and packages as a web tool for Portal ok. But when I try to run the web tool from Portal, it isn't recognizing the reportlab.pdfgen library. I did use Conda to make a clone and installed reportlab into that environment (and activated it) but still no luck. We are running ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 and ArcPro 2.6. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Is there any update on this? The github link isn't valid anymore and I'm still having a problem where the zoom to buffer doesn't appear to be working properly for a Feature Layer in the Near Me widget (works ok for a Geocoder service). It either doesn't zoom at all or it zooms to the feature (much too close) - depending on the options I select. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Margaret

We've created a Parking District Map to allow citizens to search an address to determine if they will be in a new parking district. In the Finder App configuration (AGOL hosted), I set the "Find layers and fields" to search on the parcel feature service. And I set the "Result display layers and fields" to display the Parking Districts info (a separate feature service). None of the Parcel fields are checked. I enter an address, the map pans and zooms but then the pop up results are from the Parcel layer. Are the Results not intended to be different than the search? Am I missing something? Thanks! Just saw a similar post about Time issues elsewhere and thought I'd throw this out there. We had a similar problem with our Parcel data (sale dates) being shown as the wrong date and time. The fix for us was to go to ArcMap (10.2.2) to the Time tab in Layer Properties and enable Time. Select the appropriate field for your date/time value and then set your local Time Zone. Then when you publish to AGOL, you'll have the correct date and time zone. Hope this helps.

Yes, we experienced this and I called ESRI Support about it. The answer is in ArcMap, go to the Time tab in Layer Properties and enable Time. Select the appropriate field for your date/time value and then set your local Time Zone. Then when you publish to AGOL, you'll have the correct date. Hope this helps.

I have an application that I've built using Web App Builder. I need to deep link using a lat/long and apply a marker. I can use the center and level parameters but I'm unable to apply a marker. Does the Web App Builder Template support the Marker parameter? My app is here: http://cityofmanassas.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=888debaf628b49a0b46f03c11b6df939 An example of what I'm trying to do (doesn't go to the correct location): http://cityofmanassas.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=888debaf628b49a0b46f03c11b6df939&webmap=1ff8e86529e94dcc897a04fce4645687&marker=-77.45682,38.75324&level=20http://cityofmanassas.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=888debaf628b49a0b46f03c11b6df939&webmap=1ff8e86529e94dcc897a04fce4645687&marker=-77.45682,38.75324&level=20 Thanks! Ok - I was able to use ESRI Reports to consume the service and make a report. However, I don't see a way to add any of the attachments that were uploaded using Collector to my report. The only fix I'm seeing is to make a local copy of the data and then export the attachments. Which, unfortunately, is not an acceptable solution for this project. Am I missing something?

I have a Site Inspections Web Map with an editable feature service that my users (City Inspectors) are updating using the Collector App. We'd like to consume the service to create a nice looking report to be turned into Management or VDOT. We have SSRS but I don't know of an obvious way to do this in it. Right now my data is hosted via ArcGIS Online but am able to host it locally, if that makes any difference. Is anybody doing this or know of a relatively painless way to do this? Thank you! Margaret

I have wrestled for months with problems printing from AGOL. We are hosting the HTML (Basic Viewer) locally but the services are in the cloud. I've recently rebuilt the Web Map to ensure that we weren't pulling secure services and I downloaded the new HTML zip and applied it to our site (test site). I'm still having problems. In IE 9 and IE 10, I often get a message saying my map is printing but then nothing happens. Same results in Firefox. I almost never get the option for the Printout. In Chrome I usually get a printout but hardly ever on the first try of opening the app in a fresh browser window. The first try either just produces nothing or a I get an Error (400). I get similar results when I try to print from the Web Application that is actually hosted up in the cloud (vs the locally-hosted HTML page). Here is our page with the older HTML: http://gisdata.ci.manassas.va.us/GIS_Site/Index.html Here is the new site with the newer HTML (same Web Map underneath): http://gisdata.ci.manassas.va.us/Test_Area/Index.html Here is the cloud hosted Application: http://cityofmanassas.maps.arcgis.com/apps/OnePane/basicviewer/index.html?appid=809140dc25f84e4cb3ab39113213bce1 Any help/suggestions is appreciated. Thanks, Margaret

So what does this mean to web maps that reference that layer? If you modified layer drawing or set a popup definition and simply saved your web map, those properties are stored in the web map and will be retained because the URL to the feature layer is still valid after overwriting and the drawing and popup definition are in the map. I am a little confused and need some help understanding the overwrite process. I have a City Road Closure web application based on a web map that has popups and specific symbology. I want to set this up so one of our engineers (non GIS-type person) can easily update it on a weekly basis. I have written out an SOP for him but I'm getting lost in the overwrite process. I don't want him to have to redo the symbology and pop ups every week. When I defined them in my Web Map, was I actually doing the above (in the quote)? Or am I missing something? I understand that the overwrite simply deletes and adds a new SD in the same name. But I'm hoping I can make this easy for the engineering group. Thanks! Margaret

We have several public maps web applications available for our citizens. Recently, I've noticed an increase in the number of complaints I have received because a map won't load or errors pop up (about layers not available). I know we had an SSL issue this morning but this is a different issue as it is affecting ALL my maps (https and http). Usually it is resolved by the time I've tested a number of things and reach for the phone to call ESRI. However, now (this afternoon), it is lasting significantly longer. Anybody else experiencing these issues? I've eliminated our firewall from the equation as the outages impact devices/computers behind the firewall and those that bypass it. And I always check the Health Dashboard and it usually has nothing to report. Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Margaret
