Once I brought all shapefiles into one folder I was able to edit multiple layers simultaneously. I will also be exploring converting to a geodatabase. Sounds like the way to go. Thanks for the help.

Thanks. I am moving water valves(points) to a different location and then I also need to also move the water lines(line feature) to a different location so them all connect correctly. Would be nice if I did not have to keep starting and stopping editing as I change each layer.

Can I edit two layers at the same time in ArcMap10.5? I am using shapefiles that are located in separate folders. Do the shapefiles need to be in the same folder so I can edit them at the same time. Very inconvenient switching back and forth(starting/stopping editing) between layers each time I want to change something. I can't seem to find the answer. Thanks in advance.

Figured it out. My custom basemap was restricting me. Once I added the streets basemap along with my 3inch high res. orthos it will let me zoom right in and fully use my 3 inch maps. The streets map must allow zooming in closer. All good

I have a custom basemap hosted online. Using Arc collector I can zoom in extremely close but when I using the same basemap in the Arc Explorer app it only lets me zoom into about a street level, Any ideas on how to zoom in closer? Thanks in advance.

Hi All, I am using collector with a sub meter (Trimble R1) device. It will work with SBAS corrections or the state DOT corrections (WISCORS) here in Wisconsin. Would I get better accuracy using SBAS or the DOT correction service? According to the GNSS app from trimble, if it can be believed, the SBAS seems to be more accurate. Which should I use?

I have tried the method described by Cliff Hoeffner with a R1, collector and no metadata. I seems to be working great. The true accuracy is displayed in feet( about 1.5 ) in the collector app. thanks cliff

I agree with Mark. I also am using integrated receiver and getting sub meter accuracy, even though it shows 16.4. I just spoke with Gale Shea from Sieler and she is also looking into this scenario. I will share if she has a work around. HAve a great day

Please see this thread and see if you have any insight to my problem with collector and my R1 gps which seems to be the same as yours. Thanks in advance

Ok Thanks But I'm still a bit confused. My Collector is set for integrated receiver and it still says 16.4 feet for accuracy even though the true accuracy is about 15-20 inches and everything else is working great. Is this just a bug or can it be changed for the real accuracy to be displayed in collector? Just wondering I guess

Hi Mark, I also just started using a Trimble R1 with collector. It is using the locations from the R1 just fine, usually 15inchs, and I confirmed on known locations. However, within the collector app it only shows 16.4 feet even though I known it is much better than that. Did you ever get this situation figured out?? Thanks in advance
