Windows PatchFinder 10.1.2.1 (2016-02.09) when downloaded triggers a Symantec Endpoint Protection Notification: "Security Risk Found! Security risk detected: WS.Reputation.1" The file is quarantined and access is denied. I'm making this post in case others go hunting for solutions for this in GeoNet. WS.Reputation.1 | Symantec says that this error is triggered on files that have a low reputation score, i.e. not enough people use it to get a sense of the dangers posed by this file. It's not a specific virus detection. In my case, going to Symantec Endpoint Protection (v14) > View Quarantine > clicking the entry for WS.Reputation.1 and tapping the Restore button returned the file to my system. And it works as expected. It would great to have Esri to submit this admittedly small, but very useful EXE to Symantec, Norton, etc. for whitelisting.

...by doing this: I downloaded the whole toolbox and bin directory from here: snowballsteve/ArcGIS_Scripts · GitHub Under the toolboxes directory: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\Desktop10.2\ArcToolbox I stored the bin directory containing the python script above in ..\My Toolboxes\bin. The toolbox this script is called from, ArcGIS_Scripts.tbx, I stored in ..\MyToolboxes. In ArcMap, I open Catalog > Toolboxes > My Toolboxes > ArcGIS_Scripts.tbx, and underneath is "Batch Export and Print". Right-clicking and choosing Properties, I can see that the script above is listed under the Source tab as the Script File. In the Parameters tab, I can see these: Input MXD Documents PDF JPG PNG EMF AI PRINT Printer Output Folder Merge PDF Double-clicking the tool runs it. This pops up the dialog where I specify my directory of MXDs and the checkboxes to say what I want done with them. Runs with no errors and nice outputs!

Not all events at the conference are able to be added to My Schedule. I have to make a personal event on My Schedule for things like 6:30am yoga, the Padres v Giants baseball game, and even the GeoDev Meetup and the hours for the Software Applications Fair. Okay, but.. None of those events made on my mobile device show up on the desktop web version of My Schedule! Terrifying initially, but not I understand why. This app would be great if the function I'm getting to add my own events actually wrote those events to whatever server is giving me results on the web. Also.. How about a setting to lock the User Conference in as default so I don't have to choose it each time? And.. The time selector is pretty, but clunky. Next time, I'm hoping that at least the event's end time defaults to starting with a time equal to or after the start time. More goodies and tips at Dean Chiang's Blog

Thanks for picking up this issue, Steve Goldman. I had a few of those frustrating moments with the app and desktop agenda, and hoped to get back with Esri about them, so I welcome this opportunity. Thanks for your ears and brains, Steven Nelson and Dave Scheirer! Using the web agenda on desktop, twice I got into a flow, madly adding sessions, then realized I wasn't logged in. Instead of asking if I wanted to apply what clearly were saved sessions to my account after login, all that work was erased. Shame on me, but Grr! The Android app when looking at the time slots always started with Saturday, instead of the current day. Couldn't it default to show the agenda for the current day? Or at least expose a setting so the user could choose to do that? That would be a nice feature on the web version as well. In previous years, I could make a "personal appointment," a reservation for time not affiliated with an Esri session, like when the Dept of the Interior had an "all hands" meeting -- not on the Esri schedule, but certainly needed to be on mine. Concurring with Rebecca Strauch, please restore that ability! I couldn't add a personal appointment on the app; didn't try on the web. And I second Rebecca's comments about printing to PDF. Having the option would be good. These comments are only possible because of Esri's continued efforts to make the conference experience easier and more to the point. I really appreciate the work on this!

I've created a web map in AGXOnline containing map notes, a flavor of map notes called recreation, a publicly-shared map service from another user, a layer from a CSV import, ArcGIS.com content from ESRI, and my own zipped shapefile. I tried to opening it in ArcGIS Explorer 1700. Only the ArcGIS.com content appears when the web map is loaded. No map notes layers... My map is accessible in ArcGIS Explorer Online search with keyword mnorelli360 or essinger. Any ideas?
